I don’t know how you guys with the V6 AWD get such good gas mileage. We just took our new 2013 Limited V6 AWD to Fargo and back over Thanksgiving. It was a 1,000 mile trip. All interstate. The Edge had 800 mile on it when we started. Our trip average was 19.1. The best I have been able to get so far is 21 mpg and that was only on a partial tank. Again, I am very disappointed. I hoped to be near that 25 mpg range based on what I had been reading.

LOL, I have done that. Also like to use the remote start when walking up to the vehicle so I can see the lights.

Agree, tapping is a much better term. And it was very easy to do using the included connector. Yeah, the vertical lights really stand out. Only problem is I'm inside driving and thus can't enjoy them!!! LOL

Well, this weekend I finished up my LED light conversion project. Bought the full set of interior and exterior lights from Dan at Daytime BrightLites. I am very happy with both the product and customer service!!! Couldn't believe how easy the installation process was. The only part that made me nervous was splicing into one of the wires for the front headlight. The new vertical running lights really does add a unique look to the Edge. Also, much prefer the white light of the LED’s for the puddle lights, license plate lights, and the interior lights.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Have been busy and haven’t been on the forums for awhile. These are the trim pieces for the EcoBoost model. You can see the discussion in my New 2013 Edge Owner thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/11428-new-2013-edge-limited-awd-owner/ One of the main reasons I switched out the rocker panels, besides the look, was for better protection. -

They are ordered!!! Should look very nice once I get everything installed!!! For those of you wanting to know, I ordered the full set of LED lights from Dan at Daytime BrightLites. Went with option 1 for the vertical LED running lights. Also putting in the puddle lights, dome light, and the LED bulbs for the map, rear cargo light, and license plate lights. Yesterday I put on my bug shield, and tomorrow when it warms up, I will install my rear bumper protector. Just about got her the way that I want her. J I will get some pictures up real soon! Have a great weekend everyone. Suppose to be great weather here in Iowa.
