The 2013 Edge Owner's Guide 3rd Edition (an October 2012 revision) on page 106 says the icon is an RTT that "will illuminate when you turn the parking lights on" and on page 103 explains "Some warning indicators are reconfigurable telltales (RTT). These indicators appear in the information display and function the same as a warning light, but do not display on startup." The Owner's Guide 2nd Edition does not include the icon among RTTs that it explains. Omar302 may be correct about this being an Information Display update that the dealer can activate via new software or revised programming. The icon would certainly provide a welcome confirmation of the automatic turn-on of headlights during daytime windshield wiper usage. Good luck!

The 2013 Edge Owner's Guide on page 486 says Recirculated Air "May turn off in all airflow modes except MAX A/C to reduce fog potential." My 2012 MKX Owner's Guide adds the word "automatically" after the above words "May turn off..." You are doing nothing wrong. What you are experiencing is the Recirculated Air function deactivating itself, by design. Ford doesn't presume we're all dummies, but there really are drivers out there who would not figure out why their windows are fogging up if Recirculated Air did not automatically deactivate. The Climate system's inability to consistently remember the previous ignition cycle's Climate system settings is a frustration to many of us. Hopefully, a future SYNC update may fix that. If you are running SYNC version 3.5.1, your "Battery Saver - System Off" symptom is usually the result of a disconnected battery cable and it typically goes away after driving a minimum of 10 miles and performing a few ignition cycles and/or after the vehicle sets unused overnight. I expect the trim panel you are describing is swinging down from the panel edge nearest the firewall and deepest in the foot well. On my MKX, the trim panel is attached with push pins at the bottom of the dashboard face and has a single rigid tab molded in the middle of the trim panel edge that's nearest the firewall. The rigid tab sits atop the carpet-insulator pad and retains the trim panel in its appropriate upward position, keeping it out of the foot well. Take a look or feel around the top edge of the carpet-insulator pad, where it forms a shelf that the tab should sit on top off & be retained. If that shelf area has rounded off, you may be able to put some cardboard behind that specific area to push the insulator pad inboard enough to retain the tab and keep the trim panel in place. Or, you can use Duck Tape. Good Luck!

For model years 2011, 2012, and 2013, the Lincoln Product Portfolio documents for MKX say the 3.7L V-6 with Ti-VCT engine includes "Adaptive knock spark control system “learns” and adjusts to deliver optimum performance based on the fuel’s octane level", however, there is no statement to that effect in the MKX Owner's Guide. While I do not find that statement in Ford Source Book entries that describe the same engine in the Edge Sport, I expect the adaptive performance capability that exists in the MKX's 3.7L V-6 also exists in the Edge Sport's 3.7L V-6. My 2012 MKX has no engine noise comparable to yours. If you have not already, you may want to call the Lincoln Customer Relationship Center at 800-521-4140. Be prepared to provide them your vehicle VIN, the dealership name and the dates of your Service visits and also who you spoke with at the dealership. Make sure you mention the video you've posted to YouTube. (The search directions you provided here allowed me to immediately find your video.) I expect they will promptly address your problem through the dealership. Hopefully, Forum users thirdgenlxi, Dingo, and akirby will offer their expert opinions on the problem that is evident in your YouTube video after your vehicle comes off high idle speed. Good luck!

My suggestion was based on my experience a few years ago buying a non-Edge Ford vehicle, and the dealer did what I requested. If the dealer had not subtracted the optional value of the removed wheels that he replaced with standard wheels, I would have gone to another dealer. But you don't know what the dealer is willing to do to get the sale until you ask them. Good luck!

Tell the dealer you love the vehicle, but you hate the 20" wheels and you'll not buy unless they swap out the 20" wheels for 18" wheels from another vehicle. As Dingo describes, the change may have no significant effect on the accuracy of the speedometer. The dealer might do it to get your business and should reduce the purchase price of the vehicle by the approximate cost of the 20" wheel option. Good luck!

Kate13: From a cold start in below-freezing temperatures, my full AUTO Climate setting will have the fan begin blowing at full speed to heat the interior after I have driven about one mile. Per the attached photo, it is possible to set the air distribution path using the TOUCH screen while leaving the fan speed automatically determined by the differential between the desired temperature and the actual temperature. Many users here are frustrated that our non-AUTO Climate system settings do not endure the next time we start-up our vehicles, something we hope Ford might address in the next SYNC/TOUCH software update. Mark94: From Invision's FAQ web page... Can I listen to the sound of my DVD through the car stereo speakers? Yes. Power up your system and place a disc in monitor "A" (headrest system) or in the only loader (Overhead/Center Console System). While pointing your remote at the monitor press the "DVD A" button directly under the red "POWER" button on your remote control. Next press the "Sound Around ON/OFF" button to turn on or off FM modulation as desired. Three buttons to right is the "Sound Around SELECT" button which will scroll through 6 possible stations for broadcasting speaker sound. Once selecting a station you must then tune your stereo to the corresponding frequency. If you need additional guidance, you may want to pose your questions using Invision's Contact Us web page. On another discussion site, a user said he used that web page and Invision's support rep responded promptly via telephone with an answer. Good luck!
