  1. Without knowing G2 specifics: Should be as simple as that. Did they include a gasket? Usually they tell you to reuse the OEM gasket. Also depending on how much coolant you lose in the process, you may need to "burp" it. A Lisle funnel is handy for that, but not totally necessary.
  2. You should be needing less boost to get the same power levels. Suprising the TB is a choke point, coz certainly isn't on a 3.5EB. Look forward to see how much diff it makes over time
  3. Tune, BBK throttle body, maybe a dropin K&N filter (or similar) will net gains out of the drivetrain. Will also improve shifting. For AWD, the best improvement is always regular fluid changes with a quality fluid like Redline Lightweight Shockproof. Lower friction, cleaner gear/bearing surfaces, high temp stability of the fluid, all add up to contribute.
  4. I found the difference in sound with a simple swapin of "budget" Pioneers was huge for my 2007. Of course the OEMs had quite a bit of mileage on them too LOL. Still, now I can crank up the volume VERY high and not really get any distortion. Pretty impressive to be rolling at 70+ with windows down and stereo cranked up and still get great sound. Stock system otherwise.
  5. We have ways of making you spend more, if you would like to know!
  6. The 2011MY is an exception to the working IOLM, so it is good to monitor and verify your driving habits against the IOLM's take on oil life before relying on the IOLM. Should not be an issue any more, but no harm in being proactive.
  7. The jump in power going from 91 to 93 is significant, always has been. it is not simply a 2 point octane increase, it allows quite a bit more tuning headroom too.
  8. Did they clean out the undercarriage to ensure the leak is truly gone or easily spotted for next time?
  9. Not a bad recommendation for 8K Km. But as akirby says, the IOLM is a good measure to stick by. One way or the other, you should decide on a routine, be it time, mileage or IOLM prompt.
  10. Not sure, I will have to look at the manual for details but the idea is to shut off the system before condensation becomes an issue IIRC. Take a break periodically if you will.
  11. no evap drain line on the fusion. at least for 2010-12 MYs. IDK if they started putting one in later on.
  12. I will say that the TStat is not absolutely necessary, have seen a few EBs with all the gizmos and stock TStat running very well. To me, the programming that goes with the TStat is of greater value: fans come on earlier and run longer, that type of thing. Still, swapping in a TStat is SO easy, makes sense to do it. Another thing to look at is to see what the temp on the trans bypass valve TStat is at, and if there is a lower temp TStat that will fit/help.
  13. I hear ya IDK if I will purchase a new vehicle again. If I can get CPO + extended warranty, that would be ideal. Otherwise a VERY good purchase price + my own maintenance plan.
  14. Didn't know we had an evap temp sensor in the Edge/MKX. Fusion, yes ... But they also do not have the evap drain line.
  15. The styling on the 2019 is very hit and miss 4 me. Took me time to get used to the 2015 tho, so ... LOL. The ST has tow capability from the factory!!!
  16. yes, that should be correct. the same challenges remain in Gen 2 as in prev gen PTUs. At least now they have made it easier to do a proper flush.
  17. great to see you posting again, Jared, and congrats on this milestone! I bet Chris is the one jealous that a gas-engined vehicle can make it this may miles without significant repairs, LOL.
  18. PTUs have failed on 2nd Gens also. So ^^^
  19. Welcome & congrats on the new ride!
