  1. Try recalibrating the climate control system. There is a thread on a 2014 limited I believe that shows you how.
  2. Most issues discussed on this forum occur only once in a while. A few issues occur much more frequently. This issue is a rare one indeed. If the wheel speed sensor and wiring check out ok, then the steering angle sensor is the next most likely candidate. Since you have Forscan, try and see if there are PIDs relating to this, might prove out the theory.
  3. highly recommend permatex ceramic extreme brake lubricant for the job.
  4. Welcome aboard, congrats, and good luck with the new ride! Got pics to share? ?
  5. D vs D2 is just concentrate vs premixed 50/50. Not a concern, it is a product number difference rather than an actual spec difference. As you surmised. You have the option which one you want to use.
  6. Got pics to share of the chipped front pads? I have to date not had any issues with them either on the Edge or the Fusion.
  7. Congrats to the wife on her good taste! May the Smile-O-Meter peg the bell and then some.
  8. Oh no! I mean congratulations Enjoy the Sport. Now I am even further behind in line, LOL.
  9. definitely makes sense. There is a HOWTO on this forum for replacing it also.
  10. At least we in the MidAtlantic can close our eyes and shudder at the horror of the goingson west coast side ... So sad, seems to be in perpetuity now ... May relief arrive soon, and keep away these fires for a good long time.
  11. Welcome and congrats! Yes, many complaints re the OEM Hankooks. When I drove a rental with them on there, I felt they were decent, but really should not be pushed. I.E., don't get throttle happy with the car
  12. Great buy, welcome to the community, congrats on the new ride, and thanks for the review!
  13. Markings decoder http://www.carwindshields.info/windshieldmarkings DOT 376 AP TECHNOGLASS CORP BELLEFONTAINE, OH, USA
  14. Doesn't match up to any known manufacturer by DOT code. This is what I am referencing, may be a better reference out there: http://www.carwindshields.info/dot_db I did find the glass by P/N DW02194, still no go on mfr https://jmcautoglass.com/replacements/ford/edg/ws-edg/15-16-ws-edg/2015-2016-ford-edge-windshield-replacement-pricing-aci/
  15. A lot of these dealers project a burdensome scenario to deter "nonpaying" customers right off the bat. We already know honesty is too much to expect these days.
  16. Sadly sometimes it IS the mechanic and not the shop. How the shop responds when they DO know is a testimonial to their character or lack thereof. Glad you caught the perpetrator in the act tho, Jason, and that you stood up for yourself. Most of us are now too meek and taught to be too per-lite for confrontation.
  17. nope 80w90 is for the rdu, 75w140 for the ptu officially. has not changed since inception. https://www.mactgarage.com/gen-2-ford-edge-capacities-and-spec https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KsuV6pzRRNZtRt2bQmdqmXeiJ79yp5oU
  18. Congrats, Prinzll, that is indeed the most important mod! Man those years drag by when you owe LOL. onyx, did you use Severe Gear? I really liked it when I had it in the PTU/RDU. Driving uphill was almost as easy as driving on a flat road compared to motorcraft fluid. LOL
  19. I don't think the problem is unique to Ford. Plus you have to judge the stock market over longer periods of time for any stock, particularly large capital stocks. I will be worried if they start reducing or eliminating dividends. On a daily basis, there is enough speculation by investors and enough banks trying to make money off those speculators to cause heartstopping swings in stock/index pricing. So, basically, look at stock history, the technicals, and base your decision on that, rather than news. The news we get is way too delayed to depend on for decisions.
