Is this the tow package: Class II receiver hitch; Larger radiator; Upgraded cooling fans; Wiring harness with 4-pin connector; Increases tow capacity to 3500 lbs A worthwhile addition, IMHO. Not so sure on the roof rails, but living where you are, having some AW mats is definitely a good idea. If otherwise the ?? vehicle has everything you want, no reason not to take delivery. Helps with long-term ownership satisfaction

Nicely done! Results look great! Are your factory headlamps HIDs? -
Welcome to the forum, and soon to your 2013 SEL! Good choice in color too, expecting some PICs

If Ford does not have a solution, you could look for aftermarket installers with MECP (Mobile Electronics Certification Program) credentials. They should be able to help you out. I will ask someone (on another forum) to see what they have to say. UPDATE: Got word back that as far as they know, you would have to install aftermarket, and it would be a custom job. Vendors like Viper provide the hardware/software necessary. Probably will have to use their keyfob for 2 way functionality, not Ford's. HTH.

Hey KingMike! Long time no post! The upgrade is looking good, can't wait to see the next set of pics. Did you go the whiteis33 or EBay or a combo route for these headlights?

Wish I had room in the garage for a winter set like that!

Nice, congrats! I see your buddies watching you take a pic

Yup, I remember going through that thread a while ago. Was just wondering if people were now selling peel & stick custom kits

HID Systems 9006: Morimoto Elite HID System $150.00 Pick the following options, then click on ADD TO CART — Ballasts: Morimoto 3Five (35w) — Kelvin: 4300K — Wire Harness: 9006 — Wire Harness Type: Heavy Duty Relay I believe KC300C has a video on this site on how to install HIDs (video is also on YouTube), very handy. Try coupon code TRS/HIDP for free UPS Ground/USPS Priority. They had a sale over Christmas, 15% off with ChristmasLights code, but it's over now. No idea if/when next code will show up. Check FaceBook https://www.facebook.com/TheRetrofitSource for updates. HTH.

Saw a news item on TV today about Honda introducing a "small/urban" SUV also. http://news.yahoo.com/honda-offers-glimpse-small-suv-190132079.html

Nicely done. Did the vinyl come as a kit specific to the Edge, or did you take a roll and custom cut all the pieces?

New 2013 Edge SE Owner in Southern California!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to Sledge0001's topic in Welcome Forum!
Welcome, many Edge owners on this forum in your area of CALI ... -
Are these specific to the 11-13 Edges or will they work for prior years as well? I would really like to have a dual intensity option: 1 for "regular" light level (backing up in a parking lot etc where really don't need much light), and 1 for "intense" light level for situations as illustrated above.

Still don't really like the taillights, otherwise a very nice looking vehicle. Thanks for posting the link!

Headlights ON indicator ?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to cpufixer1's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
Maybe you could put some lightly tinted film over the sensor? I don't have MFT, so I can't speak to this directly. But it seems there are sensitivity level settings through MFT for other lighting functions for the headlamps. Worth a look? For example, this discussion on another forum re: auto hi beams --- http://www.ecoboostownerforums.com/showthread.php?1480-Not-so-auto-High-Beams Otherwise, a trip to the dealer may help if this is a malfunction. -
Pics work good Any mods to the Mustang other than the body kit?
