  1. I try to think of it as two-tone, interior sport "paint"
  2. Did they check the headlight switch for continuity as well? May be time for another opinion ...
  3. Glad to have you here, and that your Edge is up to the challenges! Post some pix when you can!
  4. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your new ride! Wow, haven't heard mention of the Vehicross in a looooong time. Original owner? Pics?
  5. Welcome to the forum, and ditto on what Haz said. Hope the Edge will stand you and your Pop in good stead.
  6. In another thread it was mentioned that the sync'ing works automatically, just takes a few miles. The TPMS sensors should be for the 2011+ models, as they operate on a different frequency from the 2007-10 models. If this does not happen, you may need to reprogram the sensors http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/5875-tpms-for-2011-edge/ HTH.
  7. Very nice all round. Love that deep blue color! Did you throw the tune on yourself? I've been told the engine can be tuned but not the transmission. True?
  8. Welcome! I too have the groundbreaking first year SEL Lots of good info & people here.
  9. I just checked the rear center headrest on my SEL, and it is one piece (sides are adjustable, center is not). I do not know if the Limited is set up differently for the center headrest. Sorry
  10. I think Dingo means the factory harness plug where you attach the HID wiring for the lamps.
  11. Very cool. Good to know those ole time techniques still do the job Shoutout to autom8r, Edgieguy and Richy!
  12. May want to check if the caliper is compromised in any way, a la the dust boots or stuck slider pins. Also the brake fluid may need flushing/changing out after the vehicle sitting that long. Probably cost the same to turn rotors as to get new ones, but definitely check the calipers and brake fluid first.
  13. Got a major problem area addressed right off the bat! Got to like that.
  14. Like Mark said, I'd still contact the seller to find out the hub bore. Better safe than sorry
  15. Per this site here, seems a viable offset version IS available. So either look for that offset up for auction, or email the seller for options? Specs for wheels discussed in this post: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/11738-compatible-for-rims/?do=findComment&comment=89413
  16. Per the calculator on miata.net, here is the comparo: Tire Size Comparison Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference245/60-18 5.8in 14.8in 29.6in 92.9in 682 0.0%235/65-18 6.0in 15.0in 30.0in 94.3in 672 1.5% Doesn't look like you need a recalibration. Notes from 1010tire.com Tire Calculator Notes:Tire diameter can vary slightly for each tire model. The listed diameters are from calculations based on the tire size. When changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the diameter/height of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure. This tire calculator is for information purposes only and we do not guarantee fitment based on this calculator alone.
  17. Taking your time and doing it right ... only way to go. Looks sharp!
