  1. Congrats (on car & baby) & welcome! Glad to have you on board
  2. So it's behaving when it knows it's being watched, Richy? :hysterical2: Since Ford/GM co-developed this trans, who should really be blamed? It sounds like they need to really dig into the programming &/or electrical innards, if the insertion of the logger into the loop really does make a difference.
  3. Special run for Ford? Would not be unlike the "special" sizes they put in HVAC filter systems in new homes!
  4. That's why I am running the Osrams instead, not great for long dark roads, but much better than stock for me. Prnzill's project should be groundbreaking for all of us. It remains to be seen what the cost would be DIY/aftermarket, etc. HID is so easily available as a technology that it is literally a crime for it to be so expensive as a standalone option from the manufacturer.
  5. Congratulations & welcome! Sounds like a beautiful color, don't get too many of those here, I remember one member some months ago, that's it! Would love to see pics of your new ride
  6. Welcome & congrats on your purchase. What color did you choose? FWD/AWD?
  7. My SEL has standard power mirrors, no heat, no puddle delights. Any idea what it would take to swap in mirrors/housings with puddle lights? I think that was the question in #8 ...
  8. A thought just occurred to me. I guess you could use any rubber/trim cleaner/protectant now that the wheels are dipped. Wonder if brake dust also would be less of a problem?
  9. Welcome! How did you come to pick the Edge?
  10. Sure thing! If you do go ahead with this project, would you mind documenting your experience to confirm how similar/different the process is? Good luck
  11. Would a thin bead of silicone adhesive for glass/windshields around the seams be helpful? This has been used as a remedy for headlights that would fog up.
  12. I am posting this only because the link in Cellbine's post is down. Don't want to violate any copyrights etc. Instructions Remove three screws connecting bumper to inner fender wells on both sides. Next step remove screws holding underbody panel to bumper Remove 6 plastic screws on top of radiator support Pull back inner fender wells and disconnect electrical connectors to fog lamps and running lights Now just pull the bumper off starting wher they meet the fenders. It seems harder than it is because most people start pulling in the wrong place or try to take more off than they have to. Reinstall it the same way you removed it.
  13. Sweet! Wecome to the forum, and happy trails with the Edge!
  14. Credit accredited http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/9229-remove-silver-cover-off-steering-wheel/#entry74557 Hope that button project works out for you, ferneyhough.
  15. Yup, that was the TSB. http://way2evil.com/tsb/tsb10-21-02.pdf for anyone wanting to take a look at it.
