  1. Video/writeup on removing the bumper on the 2011+ Ford Edge (thanks Cellbine!): http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12810-how-to-remove-front-bumper;-2011-2013-models
  2. Go to http://www.daytimebrightlites.com/FAQ.php for kc's helpful tutorials/how-tos. Hopefully they will ease you into the process
  3. Why the change already? And don't say you've been Photoshopping all along!
  4. I think you had pre-existing knowledge of the coming of the Edge era
  5. Et tu, Cellbine! Great pic of the 2 of you! Congrats, shoulinpanther. A long life 2 you 2 enjoy her company
  6. The PCM probably shut off the AC to decrease load on the engine under a misfire condition. I believe it does the same thing at wide open throttle (WOT). Glad the fix was simple in this case!
  7. Welcome & congrats, Matt. You now have a wee bit more room in your ride Are you a professional detailer by any chance? As far as upgrades, a recent thread discussed just that http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12794-new-edge-what-do-i-need-to-do-first/ You can lower the Edge with H&R springs, get bigger wheels (the 22s from '11-'13 models), change out the exhaust (Magnaflow most commonly swapped in). This is just for starters. Looking forward to pics in the near future!
  8. No doubt customer feedback is important! I am sure Ford is already aware of the issues and probably cost-weighted them prior to production. Still, we have to document the real-life cases to prove a point
  9. You mentioned before that power seems to drop off a little during these episodes. Is that still true? Do you feel any vibration or notice anything else unusual at that time? Is the climate control on during that time? It almost sounds like a groan or something flexing bending. Hit any potholes hard enough to bend wheels? Check the intake. Have you changed anything in that area or had it recently serviced? Something may not be bolted down tightly enough. Driving next to concrete barriers/Jersey walls will greatly amplify any sound coming off your vehicle from the outside. If you have a spot where you can make some test runs and plant a camera nearby, that might help.
  10. Uh oh! Now you have to do the rear emblems too! Very clean work.
  11. Wow! How long did that take to go away, Dingo?
  12. I just read up on the WDR, seems to be one of the "milder" rattlesnakes, if there is such a thing Coming from the land of kraits, vipers, and cobras, I have learned to be wary of snakes in general, not being a herpetologist by trade. I do hear horror stories all the time about the BR spider, and have seen episodes on TV. Pretty nasty stuff. Need to put them all in a pit together and let them duke it out
  13. Hope you were far far away from that thing! Worse than scorpions IMHO.
  14. Cool! This would be for the 3.7L engine, not the 3.5L, correct? http://www.procharger.com/2011_v6_mustang.shtml Dyno run here: at about 1:37 into the video.
  15. Very nice! Did you replace any of the wiring while you were at it, or do you feel the stock wires are good enough? What amps are you going with?
  16. Howdy! The Edge can be kinda addictive Hope it treats you well!
  17. Welcome & congrats, Bryan! Well done on the license plate and headlights. Need some pics of your HIDs! Look forward to your chronicles
  18. I haven't seen any coverage listed for "Body" type parts in my CPO warranty, so I am assuming the same applies to yours. But your dealer may work with you to get it fixed. The argument usually is, oh that "flaw" is built into the pricing.
