  1. Chalk it up to Ford's weirdness with MPG measurements? Hopefully you will get a better feel for it by the next fillup.
  2. Nice tabulation. Are you running regular or premium?
  3. Could be that engine parts like the throttle body spacer are simply renumbered for the Fusion. On the Ford site, the throttle body diagram, for example, looks identical and is priced identically between the Edge and Fusion. Suspension components I don't think we'd get so lucky. MAYBE the adjustable parts like the camber ball joints. Coilovers like those from Megan Racing (they make them for the Flex now, may have for the SHO as well, both in the Edge's weight class) would likely be the real performance gainers. Only way to know for sure is to get a hold of someone with parts catalog access & experience so we can get factory specs for comparison so we can start cannibalizing parts .
  4. Welcome & congratulations, nice looking ride! Good looking wheels too!
  5. Welcome & congrats! What color Edge did you end up with?
  6. NGK Platinum 5019 plugs? Motorcraft EV257 non-heated PCV Valve? If anything, new parts should have increased your mpg's. Maybe you have a weak coil or improperly seated wiring boots? Is the engine running smoothly? If you disconnected the battery, could be the PCM's learning period also.
  7. Steeda has not been on this forum for quite a while. They had asked for input on what Edge owners would like to mod, but we received no feedback on their development plans. I am sure they are busy with Mustang-based sales, and 3.7L owners can benefit from that. 2.0L Ecoboost owners can probably get tunes soon, since they are in the works for the Fusion and maybe the MKS. Have heard you can already get a tune for the NA 3.5L from SCT/Unleashed Tuning. Springs-wise, H&R is about your only option. I don't think you will find anyone selling traction bars to reduce wheel hop etc. But beyond that, you are pretty much on your own, doing on-off performance-related mods, or sticking with appearance/electrical mods.
  8. Post your request on this page: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10937-employee-pricing-on-all-parts-accessories/page-6 Most likely, Benny at Levittown Ford SuperCenter can help you out. Otherwise you can search auction sites/call other Ford dealers to get pricing.
  9. Hey Jared! Hope you and the attorney figure something out 4 sure! I too grew up without pets around, and I too have enjoyed my time with my friends' pets. I have seen how much love and attention people shower on their "pets"/family members, wow! That kind of bond is just amazing, have to have a big heart for that. You were lucky to have Riley, and Riley to have you
  10. When does your warranty expire? Would keep an eye on that. Have you had previous service experience with this dealer? Usually rotors and pads just get resurfaced, not so easy to get them replaced, IME. Calipers, maybe. No idea on availability of calipers. But rotors and pads should be plentiful.
  11. Might need to pull #27 in the fuse box in the engine compartment, Richy. That is listed as "Front power point/ighter" in the 2011 MKX Owner's manual pg 258 http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pubs/content/~WOBMKX/~MUS~LEN/41/11mkxog2e.pdf
  12. Welcome & congrats! Tell us more about your new ride, and how you came about acquiring it Pics would be great, too!
  13. Brake booster going bad, vacuum loss to the brake booster, or brake fluid is leaking out somewhere.
  14. http://store.candlepower.com/hirlighting.html Try them, or call & ask questions first. Read through their discussions on lighting if you like.
  15. No habla espanol. Espero solucionar trabaja para usted.
  16. Also helpful when behind polluting vehicles with no option to move out/away! though you might want to get a mobile/clipon air purifier for extended "recirculate" sessions.
  17. Looks interesting to me, how much of the lighting mods can you control/turn on/off? The matching referred to color temperature, I think, on the front lights. 4300K/5000K/etc.
  18. Glad to hear progress being made. Gladder still when the perps get their due punishment for their misdeeds.
  19. I think shoulinpanther had a setup like that.
  20. Welcome & congrats :happy feet: Participation and insight are actively encouraged here!
  21. Welcome, Brandon! There is indeed good reading and community to be had here.
  22. Could be the wheel bearing(s). It's too early, I know, but the first-gens had a TSB out for that.
  23. A couple of people have suggested WD-40 for the door latch mechanism. Recently, brake cleaner was suggested since it is not oily and won't gum up. Other than that, replacement of the mechanism is the only known solution.
