  1. Is that the bellypan you are referring to? On the SHO, they say they added for aerodynamics and cooling (translates into MPG), so probably the same there. Still a PITA.
  2. Welcome! Edge looks good! What year, AWD/FWD? Lot of nighttime driving (Ridgid bar)? Post up some sound clips, would love to hear it
  3. Congrats! I assume you got an extended warranty rolled in at that price, maybe maintenance too?
  4. Positive battery terminal: The negative terminal part number is BT4Z-14450-BA That won't help you here, but ... Found an actual thread on this forum: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10271-fuse-block-on-positive-battery-terminal/ Same problem, looks like. http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/PartDetail.aspx?n=ckOj1GrDwo0yAK5tP%2bja2Q%3d%3d&id=250462919&m=2&search=true&year=2013&make=Ford&model=Edge http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/PartDetail.aspx?n=4jZhJdOXoukTSzh86m5dDw%3d%3d&id=252068156&m=2&search=true&year=2013&make=Ford&model=Edge
  5. Almost sounds like stray voltage, if it is not a software bug.
  6. Who provided the air springs? Accuair is the management system, right?
  7. No recall on the door latch problem, which IS a safety issue. Sunroof probably WAY down on their list.
  8. Whoa, that's slammed! Air suspension installed? How much ride height difference? Is the Edge still your daily driver? How do you like it?
  9. Did you have to put the Edge up on ramps/jacks at all? I find there is just enough room to get by without.
  10. Have you looked at the Clear Bra under proper lighting? That sometimes is the only way to see the scratches/swirls. A thought would be to try a product like Meguiar's BackToBlack or CarPro DLux to "rehydrate" the plastic.
  11. Still taking shots in the dark, but the CKP/CMP sensors would be reasonable candidates.
  12. Only thing I can think of, if it hasn't yellowed, would be to polish the Clear Bra just like you polish plastic. This would remove the outermost layer and get rid of finer swirls/scratches. Then apply a sealant made for plastics to it to retain the shine/clarity.
  13. How much power is your amp drawing? The electrical system might be sensing too much draw?
  14. Quite possible you have the infamous throttle body problem. You will have to insist on that being checked/replaced, and to date there has been a backorder on this part. This thread might give you some ammo to back you up: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/3586-2007-edge-unexplained-stalling/
  15. That is good news! Rene and Cellbine are the two members I know that report in from Germany. We do have a member out in Finland too, hopefully he is still reading this forum.
  16. Could be any number of things. What is the recent service history on your vehicle? You say you are getting fuel pressure and spark. Could you tell us the readings and how/where you took them? A sensor like the crank position sensor or cam position sensor could have failed. When you try to start the Edge, do you get erratic tachometer readings, does it stay at 0, etc.? Does it seem to crank normally? Have you checked battery voltage? Any signs of corrosion, dripping on any wires underneath? Any fluid leaks? All fluid levels OK? Did you try starting with transmission in both P and N? PCM could be fried, but not sure that would cause a lack of the CEL or codes.
  17. Maybe you should stand and watch to make sure they do it right!
  18. Have they checked the cabin air exhaust vents behind the rear bumper?
  19. Has the amount/frequency at least gone down? It may take a bit of use to finish dissipating. Even though the TSB implies a thorough "duct cleaning".
  20. Maybe use bubble wrap on the final coat to make a textured imprint?
  21. Welcome! Performance upgrades so far mostly exhaust (catback), springs, brake rotors/pads, a tune, maybe a cold air intake. More options for the engine if you have a 3.7L (since it is shared with the Mustang), and coming up if you have the EB engine (tunewise). Body kits, nothing people have really liked so far, most interest has been in mud flaps and side skirts. Electronically is where the door is WIDE open: audio/video, lighting, etc. Have you had a chance to drive the Lincoln MKX and compare audio systems with the Edge? If so, impressions? Post some pics of your Edge, and your work in progress
  22. Congrats! Always a great feeling. More to put away under the mattress
  23. Could also be the condenser fins are dirty (check the front/radiator area), or a radiator fan is malfunctioning.
  24. Haven't had this problem since we replaced the cabin filter.
