Looks like it takes about a week to ship, so maybe you'll get it by end of week?

Winter Wheels & Tires for 13 Sport (Vancouver)
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to OverHeight's topic in Wheels & Tires
Do you have AWD/FWD? Since rain is your main concern, you should be looking for good all-season tires, then you don't have to change your wheel/tire setup any time of year, unless you like running ultra high performance summer tires at any point. Tirerack.com has a ratings guide that is fairly accurate, and that would be a good start. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/SelectTireSize.jsp?autoMake=Ford&autoModel=Edge+Sport&autoYear=2013&autoModClar=AWD Also, http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=CSTAS Whatever size of wheel you choose, you have to choose the appropriate tire to maintain the various aspect ratios. Tirerrack will point that out also, if you input your vehicle. If you want a tire sizing calculator, http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html is one of the popular sites used. HTH. -
Your new fam-mobile looks great! Plenty of experienced Plastidippers here to help with ideas too

Battery or fuse would be my initial guess at possible culprits. Fuse 29 maybe.

H.I.D. Problem
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to Daniel Pettway's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Probably a capacitor in the "black box" that helps with startup current draw. Are your bulbs 35W also, or just the ballasts? I would keep an eye on the wiring/bulbs still. Some of the "lesser" HID kits have literally gone up in smoke. -
H.I.D. Problem
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to Daniel Pettway's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
You have the custom headlight housings (from whiteis33) now, or are they still factory? Do you have HID from factory or halogen? Please provide all details you can about your setup. -

If we could use the SHO drivetrain, we may be able to get 600+ AWHP out of it! Albeit with changes to the fueling system and switch to E85 fuel

Ford PremiumCare ESP and Premium Maintenance Plans
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to wlepse's topic in Recalls, TSBs & Warranty
TSBs only mean Ford is aware of the problem, and has a suggested solution. If you do not have a warranty at the time of the incident, you are out-of-pocket. Since your Edge has a couple of persistent issues, definitely check the PremiumCare warranty to make sure those items are covered first. Labor costs will kill you. Now, you DO have powertrain coverage out to 50K or something like that, correct? It's the miscellaneous systems that will set you back like electrical/safety/etc. Maybe the sensible thing to do is compile a list of known issues with Edges in general, and see if any of the extended warranties would cover it? http://www.factoryplans.com/assets/cms/files/brochure_FordESPPlanOptions.pdf I took PremiumCare just because I got a CPO with significant miles on it already. I do have to pay a $100 deductible per trip, but well worth it to me still. Ford ESP Plan Comparison.doc -
Shift to Park Warning when it's in Park
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to AmyLovesHerEdge's topic in All Wheel Drive (AWD)
A PCM reflash ala TSB 13-03-18 may fix the harsh shifting problem. -
You would basically need to have a mechanic install a drain plug and change out the PTU fluid regularly to ensure longevity. And watch for leaks. That's about all you can really do.

SP Performance Zinc Plated Rotors?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to gene328is's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
No kidding on limited feedback! Seem to be quite good, though the rotors may need a bit of time to warm up in cold weather. I know they are well-liked on Saturns ... -
Are you seeing Gen 1 or Gen 2 grilles with the "black chrome"? My guess is people are buying it unpainted and having it painted, or vinyl-ing it.

Did you get the issue resolved, Prinzll? Or did it go away on its' own? Update please

Shift to Park Warning when it's in Park
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to AmyLovesHerEdge's topic in All Wheel Drive (AWD)
So they didn't actually replace the shifter assembly? Dingo pointed out that replacement is necessary for a fix. Your Sync etc up to date on versions? An update may fix the lines issue, unless the camera has been bumped hard enough to be compromised. http://fordsyncforum.com/topic/3327-backup-camera-missing-active-and-fixed-lines/?do=findComment&comment=13321 Is yours any early 2011 model? -
Headlight moisture
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to simplicity's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Possibly a cracked lens or compromised gasket/seal. What wattage HIDs are you using? Checked with OEM lights to see if problem goes away? Not under warranty for a 2013? -
Awesome, now we don't have to call the dealer "Lucy" A long block def makes sense, probably why they are not bumping the warranty up. Here's to hoping for a long & happy relationship with your Edge!

I would imagine them to be about the same in flow/filtration. There are a few cross-brand comparisons on the 'net, for example: http://www.gmtruckcentral.com/articles/air-filter-study.html I think, for real power benefit at least, the entire air tract has to be engineered as a unit, so you get the coldest, cleanest air possible into the engine at any speed/rpm. Dingo uses a Green Filter (http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12132-cold-air-intake-information/ ), and they claim significant improvements with just a filter change (http://www.greenfilterusa.com). Still not oilless, so probably a good idea to clean the MAF regularly going this route.

Attempted to capture the live differences in filters/no filter situation. Better in person Old filter didn't look that dirty to me, but compared to the new one, certainly. No screws/bolts for bottom of air box. I think it is held on to the bracket beneath with plastic pushpins maybe? New Purolator Classic Filter.mp3 No Filter.mp3 Old Motorcraft Filter.mp3

Welcome & congrats! I too agree wiring issue, since more than 1 light bulb affected. How do the bulb sockets look (any burn marks etc)? It is always possible that incorrect spec bulbs were installed to begin with.
