  1. Camouflaged calipers Could go with white, but those would likely get dirty quick. I am sure you will be very pleased with your customized headlights. Need some before/after pics when all is in place!
  2. Welcome, and congrats! Post up some pics please What mods are you interested in doing?
  3. Wow! Surprised the Edge was still running with that little left on the plugs. Very very tough material.
  4. Welcome, fellow Marylander! Glad to see you on here Got any side-by-sides of the Edge and Cobra?
  5. Looks like you and Stan Bryant have had your Edges suffer a similar problem. Hopefully, this is the "real" fix
  6. Although this is not of the OEM setup, you can see the wiring used here: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/3162-diy-dvd-headrest-install-with-pics/
  7. Time to sit back and enjoy the ride! Hope you will have a problem-free Edge for quite some time to come.
  8. Good luck, Stan! Hope it stays fixed, and that you remain a happy Ford customer
  9. Seems we are in need of some Billet Badges emblems in lieu of these OEM replacements
  10. Especially the ones with "sharp" edges/quick rampups/rampdowns!
  11. All good points. First thing to do however, is to pull codes from the OBDII port, any decent auto store should be able to do so for free. Could certainly be misfires from worn out spark plugs, but could be faulty injectors also, besides the transmission possibilities. So, codes first. Check to see if transmission fluid level is correct. Low OR high can cause problems. Is the fluid color good, and free of metal shavings? Any leaks on the ground or on the underneath of the engine/transmission? Can you feel the vibration/shudder in PARK when revving the engine, or only when driving? Could be wheel/tire, loose lug nut(s) or alignment also.
  12. Cool! Best of luck with the new Verdes.
  13. Oh no!!! Is this a breakup-by-post Good luck at your new posting, Todd, and look forward to welcoming Tricia on board!
  14. I can just imagine the burden of finding all those rental cars to perform this recall, and am not surprised the dealers are not prepared to handle the incoming flood!
  15. Welcome to the forum, tintdude! Your Edge looks superb with the carbon fiber wrapping in place
  16. What changes, if any, have you made to your Edge recently, Swatman? Maybe it is time for a new battery?
  17. Any one of those should work ok. If you buy DDM kits, the good thing is that you can get 2 kits, or at least 2 sets of relays for the 55W kit, affordably so you have backup relays and don't have to wait for weeks to get replacements in case of failure. Haven't heard of bulb failures recently, most of the problems have been with the relays (even with TRS now). hidextra.com has also been mentioned as a good source for the kit in a recent install on this forum.
  18. Thank you for the insights, and glad your persistence paid off!
  19. There are rumors floating around that there is now a TSB for the throttle body issue. 14-xxxx. Have to get a copy to look at, but hopefully that can be pulled up by your servicing dealer.
  20. Welcome to the Edge community, and congrats! Any pics to share, that Sunset sounds like a kicka** color
  21. Welcome to the community, and congrats on your new ride. You can plastidip them, or get black overlays/emblems from EBay.
  22. Do you mean the hub nut? These are the numbers I see for the front halfshafts. Install the ball joint in the knuckle and install the pinch bolt. Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).Position the stabilizer bar link and install the link nut. Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).Install a new front wheel hub nut. Tighten to 350 Nm (258 lb-ft).
  23. You could contact whiteis33 on this forum, he does custom headlights day-in, day-out. Cellbine I believe has had a seriously customized set from him. https://www.facebook.com/DynamikiLLu51ons
