  1. Were any of those miles freeway miles? Try driving for 10 or so miles at/above 90 kph. If that does not work, take it in to any tire store and they can train the system to work together.
  2. Working with Ford Customer Service directly is your best option. But it is likely they will simply do the TSB again, at best.
  3. Also look at the window sticker & sales receipt. If a 2.0L is mentioned as the engine, it is an EB. If you have an AWD, it is NOT an EB.
  4. Faulty tire? Bent rim? Improperly torqued lug nuts?
  5. Looks like your decision to PD the wheels saved the finish. Just means you get to PD them again!!!
  6. Welcome to the forum, put up a pic or two of your ride
  7. Man, that s***s! You gotta do what you gotta do, doesn't make it any easier
  8. Maybe we should plastidip the dash LOL.
  9. Sadly, we don't get the 850CCA batteries for the Edge. Otherwise, the 100 month warranty on dealer-installed Motorcraft batteries sounds good to me.
  10. Certainly could cause trust issues. Have no idea whether Ford was over-the-top with the original TSB, or cutting corners with the latest TSB. As long as the PCM/coils remain under warranty, I wouldn't worry too much though.
  11. That looks fantastic! Great find, and good job by the upholstery shop.
  12. Any powertrain info? May be too far out for Ford/Lincoln to reveal their plans.
  13. Do you think it was a faulty bulb, or something else, Cellbine? Hope you can get replacement(s) under warranty!
  14. Nice wheels, and looks brand new! Must be glad to get out from under all that snow ...
  15. This is what it says for the D3S bulbs in the OM: Replacing HID headlamp bulbs (if equipped) The low beam headlamps on your vehicle use a “high intensity discharge” source. These lamps operate at a high voltage. When the bulb is burned out, the bulb and starter capsule assembly must be replaced by your authorized dealer. I would assume you could install aftermarket 9006 or 9005 kits in place of the OEMs when it comes time. Search for "D3S HID" related topics on the forum. Only D3S bulbs fit properly in the OEM HID headlights, it seems. A projector swapout would be required to use other bulbs in there, if you can't find D3S replacements. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/8655-oem-hid-part-information/
  16. Don't feel bad, Richy! Seems like Ford designs are being copied globally, not so with Lincoln (thankfully, I think). This remind you of any Ford front-ends? http://autos.jdpower.com/research/Honda/Accord%20Crosstour/2011/SUV/index.htm
  17. Welcome to the community and congrats on your DIB Edge! To me, it is still one of the most functional, comfortable, and headturning purchases I could have made
  18. Not sure what exactly you are looking for on the headlights. People have plastidipped and/or film-ed the grille. Cellbine was among the first to get his grill blacked out. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12565-how-tos-powertrain-electronics-body-more/ Clean the emblem as thoroughly as you can to help plastidip stick better. Use masking tape and newspaper to surround the emblem so no overspray gets anywhere. Spray on 5-6 coats, waiting to let dry in between coats. Carefully peel off the masking tape/newspaper. Done! This thread may be helpful for vinyl wrapping the grille: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/11871-vinyl-wrapped-chrome-accent-on-grill-of-sport-edge-color-matched/
  19. What year Edge? A/C condensation drain could be blocked, usually ends up wetting the driver side carpet/mat. Any wetness in the underdash area? If so, then we have to look at the evaporator as a possible culprit also.
  20. From looking at the 2013 owner's manual, pg 84, it is clear that a true anti-theft alarm is an option. The passive security system (not to be confused with an alarm system) works only with Ford anti-theft systems, according to the manual. ANTI-THEFT ALARM (IF EQUIPPED) The system will warn you of unauthorized entry to your vehicle. The turn signal lamps will flash and sound the horn up to a total of 10 times when: • any door, the hood or the luggage compartment is opened without using the keypad, the remote control or the intelligent access transmitter (if equipped) • the ignition is turned on with an invalid key. Take all keys and remote controls to an authorized dealer if there is any potential alarm problem with your vehicle.
