  1. Congrats on the realization of your dream, BPM Keep us apprised of mods & other adventures etc.!
  2. Any updates? Do you have FWD or AWD? Vibration coming from front/rear?
  3. I believe a recent topic mentioned that if flat-towing for long distances, starting and idling the Edge when stopped to fuelup the tow vehicle prevents a dead battery scenario.
  4. Let me see if I can get a spot at the park late night to grab the pics. They are not DINGO bright, but I notice them even in the daytime. Yeah, I'd like to think 1400, but whenever they say that, I divide by 3 (just because I'm an old Ethernet guy) to get a more reasonable number EDIT: No pitch black areas nearby; we have plentiful street lighting plus the moon is definitely present! Even so, obviously not like broad daylight back there. Looking at view behind vehicle, no lights Looking at rear of vehicle, no lights Looking at view behind vehicle, reverse on Looking at rear of vehicle, reverse on Reference for comparison: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10298-added-led-reverse-bulbs-today/?do=findComment&comment=91917
  5. Welcome to the community, sorry you are having problems with your '13 Edge! At the very least, the calipers need to cleaned and slide pins greased, at the most, they should be replaced. Either way, the dealer should fix under warranty. 15K is terrible life for a brake pad, esp. OEM, if this is not exclusively a dragstrip-driven vehicle, that is. As akirby said, find a new dealer. If you still have no luck, there is a Ford Customer Service Rep on here to help you escalate & resolve the issue.
  6. Yokohama Parada Spec-X is well liked in the community, Pirelli Scorpion reviews are somewhat mixed. I am running Nitto tires myself, but they came with the Edge. They seem to be OK, not the best I've seen.
  7. Welcome to the community, glad to have you and your MKX aboard! Are you going to be installing a flashing LED light bar to go with that nickname? How long have you had the MKX?
  8. I use the standard TYC filter. Aim to try the ATP carbon filter next time.
  9. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your Edge! Didn't take you long to make it your own
  10. Get a good quality torque wrench! Many out there are pure junk.
  11. You might have luck finding aftermarket COPs on EBay. I just saw a set for under $160 from a reputable seller. EMail the seller alanisdeals to see if they have any for the Edge. They have many satisfied customers for Ford COPs, at a very reasonable price. OEMs will run around $92 per COP. My Edge's spark plugs were gapping at 0.070+ after 80K miles. So yeah, changing them could help. Plus changing the PCV valve at the same time would be a good idea.
  12. Though not my top choice, Power Stop Z16 brake pads seem to be working fine for me: http://www.amazon.com/Power-Stop-16-1258-Ceramic-Brake/dp/B007K1JXA0 http://www.amazon.com/Power-Stop-16-1259-Ceramic-Brake/dp/B007K1JXHI/ A more expensive option is the Hawk HPS, but they are sold by a third party.
  13. If it's burnt badly enough, there are aftermarket sockets that work well. A search on the forum should turn up links/names.
  14. 10 days we've been waiting, 10 days anticipating ...
  15. There are a couple of videos up on YouTube that may help you out
