One alternative is to look at the Chilton's free online manual, starting with this link http://hmcpl.org/databases/auto-repair-reference-center then click on the INFOTRAC url, click PROCEED on the resulting page, and select the 2011 Ford Edge (no manuals past 2011, sorry).

Welcome to the community, Mike! I too have a '07 CM Edge Pics of before & after your mods? What version of the NAV do you have? I assume it is on DVD, and is OEM (not a burnt copy)? Does the player play other DVDs ok?

13N02 - Extended Warranty Coverage on Brake Booster
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to omar302's topic in Recalls, TSBs & Warranty
To me, it would be a safety concern, because even though the brakes are technically working, how many people today are used to driving without boosted brakes? Today's automobile has many accommodations for convenience, and unfortunately, that also means that the driver is not generally prepared to make that level of effort at a moment's notice. At the very least, the loaner car should be free of cost to you. I know it is expensive for Ford, but what has to be done has to be done. -
Ridiculously great deal! Thanks for posting.

Maybe something like this would work: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Ford_Door_Cladding_Moulding_Clip_With_Sealer_p/a21198.htm

Sorry to hear about your experience, ponder3. Is there another dealer you can try for future work? Did the reprogram fix the transmission jerkiness? EB/3.5?

Great idea and results Now you'll be rolling in style!

There might be suspension tuning differences from the factory with the Sport (spring rates, I believe) to complement the 22 inch wheels. I wouldn't assume that putting 22 inchers on a lower trim level Edge would ride as well as factory, but how much difference, hard to say. Consider also that if you use lightweight wheels, the vehicle will not dampen road abnormalities as well. More sidewall also helps in this area. The tradeoff is likely to be mpg and handling (though hardly severe). Hopefully owners that have done this upgrade will chime in soon Good luck!

13N02 - Extended Warranty Coverage on Brake Booster
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to omar302's topic in Recalls, TSBs & Warranty
Keeping costs down, inventory low? End of month is ALMOST here, hope they gave you a rental? -
Sounds like an APIM or a programming issue. Do you have MFT/Sync, and if so, are they updated to the latest software version?

New 2012 Edge Sport Owner + Looking to mod, need help
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to rocketace1's topic in 2012 Edge & MKX
Not too enamored with it, would leave it to the Land Rovers. If anything, I would have it paint-matched to the hood so it doesn't stand out quite so much. -
I think there is a TSB (14-00-11?) for a reset tool that "fixes" the door latch switch, don't know yet how effective the fix is. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/4677-problem-with-door-ajar-sensor/page-2?do=findComment&comment=115188

Sorry to hear. No recall, just TSB. MIght as well see what a trusted mechanic would charge for the repair, since it's OOP, even tho I think you get a 2 yr warranty with Ford work.

Performance mods you would like to see for the Edge/MKX
WWWPerfA_ZN0W replied to WWWPerfA_ZN0W's topic in Mods & Tech
Torrie is practically legendary in tuning circles. But the intent of this thread is to find out what people are interested in (for example, an engine appearance cover made of carbon fiber or hydrographic'd), as well as possibly expand the offerings (for example, an Airaid kit for the Edge/MKX), if there is a gap to be filled We get volume, we can do group buys, lower prices, etc etc etc.- 32 replies
