  1. I was hoping to find numbers for various STs, along with their mods. Probably on a facebook page somewhere that I am not a member of ... Normally I look to dragtimes for such comparisons. for the gen 2 sport Click on the 1/4 ET to display the DragTime in detail. Times with a * have a picture. 1/4 Mile ET 1/4 Mile MPH 1/8 Mile ET 1/8 Mile MPH 0-60 Foot ET Temp F Stock Car Year Driver 12.290* 115.190 7.977 90.160 1.849 47.0 Ford Edge Sport 2016 Colin Shorter 12.744* 108.040 8.163 85.350 1.832 46.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD - 100 2015 037 12.770* 108.020 8.270 85.600 1.940 Ford Edge Sport 2016 Mikula 12.904* 106.860 8.274 84.690 1.849 80.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD 2016 Warren J 12.918* 104.960 8.227 84.100 1.827 43.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD - 93 2015 037 12.982* 107.260 8.375 84.440 1.920 100.0 Ford Edge Edge Sport AWD 2016 Xtra 12.990* 106.510 8.342 83.820 1.930 60.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD - E30 2015 Chris L - GT500R 13.020* 104.410 8.360 83.690 1.930 Ford Edge Sport 2016 Mikula 13.086* 105.930 8.416 83.790 1.934 52.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD 100 2016 Tom Brown 13.120* 103.500 8.430 82.640 1.920 Ford Edge Sport 2016 Mikula 13.145* 104.590 8.419 82.170 1.926 48.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD - 100 2015 Chris L - GT500R 13.228* 103.270 8.465 82.150 1.934 54.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD - 93 2015 Chris L - GT500R 13.384* 102.140 8.554 81.440 1.960 41.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD - 93 2015 Chris L - GT500R 13.478* 100.960 8.597 80.160 1.959 55.0 Ford Edge Sport AWD 2015 Chris L - GT500R 13.580* 102.400 8.990 81.200 2.040 90.0 Ford Edge Sport Ecoboost FWD 2015 Robalo1 Read more: http://dragtimes.com/compare2.php?make1=15&model1=1400&op1=%3E%3D&year1=2015&make2=-1&op2=%3D&year2=0&make3=-1&op3=%3D&year3=0&make4=-1&op4=%3D&year4=0#ixzz6aWWRW8ax
  2. Just a suggestion If you like gathering data, you can then decide for yourself if it is information to you or garbage. No worries.
  3. He does have Blackstone Labs test the used fluids, if that is any comfort. Also, get on the phone with Redline, see what they have to say. You won't get the full story any other way.
  4. That may not be the coolest location, but let's see what James has to say. They are the pros, LOL.
  5. @tamugrad2013 there is actually a memo regarding defective fuel pumps NOT needing a recall, associated with this issue. VERY strange. Recall 13S13_2012-13 Edge 2L-EB fuel line pulse damper metal housing may crack_ReplaceFuelLine_Memo-FPs not needing recall.pdf

  7. The cans need to be mounted in the coolest possible location in the engine bay. Fewer options than in an explorer sized vehicle, but the fenderwell (from where the airbox gets its feed) is the most ideal. Where are yours located?
  8. You have to get your hands on the wiring diagrams.
  9. Glad to see you are making a good recovery Hope you are getting to 100% physically and emotionally.
  10. I don't have wiring diagrams for gen 2 on hand, otherwise i would have made a reasonably educated guess lol. You would do well to either buy the manual (paper or DVD), or get an online subscription from the numerous established services such as Chilton's/Alldata/Mitchell etc. The online sub will keep you current on bulletins Ford puts out as long as you have the subscription. Sometimes discounts are available, check around for coupons such as on retailmenot.com. The sediment is most likely coolant additives fallen out of suspension, but that is never good. Means the coolant was run too long. Either use an aftermarket (non-orange) extended life coolant or the new Motorcraft Yellow. Just my 2 cents. The cleaner is a good idea, hopefully only needs 1 pass to work. Don't want clogs in the radiator or heater core.
  11. check tirerack.com. they list oem sizes for vehicles. choose the smallest oem size. smaller and you may run into brake clearance issues.
  12. Change all fluids pronto, and refresh them regularly. No more than 5/60 intervals for trans fluid, power steering, or coolant. Halve the interval for the best chance at longevity. This vehicle was driven less than the average in the U.S., so 115K miles may actually be more like 200K worth. Treat it accordingly.
  13. looks like the repairs worked. you may need to clear codes using Forscan Lite, or use the PCM reset that fordtechmakeuloco shows on YT. Then see if it comes back. check for codes and see if it is an old code that has simply not cleared. if all is well, at worst a P1000 should have set. did you replace the TCM/ solenoid body assembly also? if so, the new strategy code on it may be causing a hiccup. most times it does not.
  14. At least on the 2015 2.7, you do have to use the same method: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nKNbBf3zhikn00ZJUb3Z1xqQCiTkR28t/view?usp=sharing
  15. well, happy anniversary! the edge apparently wanted to be noticed, lol. ? Whatever you do, make sure the connections to the module are nice and tight. If they are not, at best, the fans won't run correctly, at worst, the module can get fried.
  16. You have done about all you can do short of borescoping it, LOL. Let's see what happens at the next fluid change.
  17. Put in a new Motorcraft radiator fan assembly. Problem solved. If you have it shipped to you, you may receive it with support brackets or module damaged. Best is local pickup from a dealer that does discounted online sales.
  18. The ABS bleed is a service function in Forscan Lite. It is available for gen 1 and gen 1.5 Edge/MKX vehicles, not sure about gen 2. The old fashioned way is to find a good long gravel road you can brake hard to lockup on. A couple of times in Drive, and a couple of times in Reverse.
  19. Even tho the old fluid flowed freely, there is some possibility that sludge buildup was starting to occur. Hot it may have all gone into suspension, but when cooled down, you would see layering. Did you retain the old fluid? I noticed on mine(2007) when I let it settle for a couple of days, there were two distinct layers forming (based on transparency). Hard to believe 130 mL of sludge tho. Common to find that buildup on the plug for the 1st drain. It is magnetic and is supposed to grab on to/retain breakin particles. Next time should be significantly better.
  20. do you have pics of the old fluid to share? did it flow easily?
  21. Nice work. But remember, the relay may be a symptom of the fan/module having a problem. Fingers crossed the relay is a longterm fix tho
