  1. Isn't this the TRS part you'd need? 1 controls both lights. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/harnesses/morimoto-9006-low-beam-relay-wire-harness.html You can try hidxtra.com also for harness/capacitor offerings: http://www.hidextra.com/accessories/?sort=newest http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/13579-ddm-hid-firing-problem/ A thread that dispenses some wonderful knowledge: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/13572-my-hid-upgrade-with-close-to-factory-lookoperation-for-80/
  2. Welcome "officially", Gary, glad to see another OC Edge owner on here This was my first color choice had it been easily available AWD in the used market. What other mods do you have in mind?
  3. Great look at the inside of the door as well
  4. I am in the Silver Spring area, about 16 mi north of DC. Whereabouts were you thinking for a meet? Richmond is about 2 hrs away from me in usual traffic.
  5. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your soon-to-be new ride Can't wait for "delivery day"!
  6. Was the sound anything like cards in a bicycle spoke? I get that sometimes, but only on cold starts/cold days.
  7. Do they use acupuncture for pain relief there, or is it not recommended during pregnancy/delivery?
  8. If it's obviously just surface rust, the arrestor may work fine. But any deeper, and it might give you a false sense of security. Would be harder to prove your case too if it should come time, since the evidence has been "tampered with".
  9. If the programming is adaptive, which I believe it is on the 2011+ Edge/MKX, you should see small gains in hp/tq just by changing to a higher airflow intake, maintaining the stoich ratio. Key to this is keeping the intake temps same or lower than OEM, or you negate the benefit by dropping air density. If the K&N had a plastic or carbon fiber tube with good heat rejection, it would be much more effective simply due to that (we only get metal tube for our appications). Another important thing is to seal the intake from the engine bay; leaving it open invites heat soak and thus possibly actual losses in hp/tq. You could replace the snorkel in the airbox with a bigger pipe extending deeper into the fender. You could run a pipe down to the openins in the bumper, or replace a fog light (pre-2011) opening for even more cold air. With either of these methods, you would have to be more careful in the design not to ingest debris. Combining a good CAI with performance headers & catback would be the ultimate best non-engine mod you could pull off (besides a tune) for hp/tq and/or mpg gains. If you go for a tune, datalogging can help get you to an optimized setting.
  10. EMail Torrie at Unleashed Tuning. He'll let you know what's possible with the 3.5L. info@unleashedtuning.com
  11. That is NOT good! So yeah, I think the best course of action would be to press forward with (at least) the advice of a good lawyer in hand. Hopefully it won't come to that any more than that.
  12. I wish the Hakkapeliitta tires were more widely available in the U.S. They have quite a following
  13. Well, at least they claim lifetime warranty http://www.rockauto.com/info/SurTrack/LimitedLifeTimeWarranty.pdf
  14. Never heard of them, though I see they are a China-based product, as many are nowadays. Only a couple of reviews on Amazon that I can find. It sucks that the Cardone front left/right axles ship from different locations.
  15. 87 should be fine. Stick with a Top Tier gas station (with high turnover/traffic) to keep problems away.
  16. Not at all. Do you have FWD or AWD? What tires are on the vehicle? Is it aligned & pressurized properly?
  17. If you transfer the old sensors to new wheels, factor the remaining battery life on the sensor (5-7 year max) into your decision also.
  18. Bulb & ballast quality DOES make a difference. You can work around the problem by overdriving the bulb with a higher-rated ballast, but obviously at the cost of bulb life. Usually kits made in Japan or Germany are 90% within 2-3 seconds. Morimoto/Denso ballasts are among the fastest, from what I have read.
