  1. Welcome to the community, Rick, congrats on the '14 Limited, and glad you could keep it in the Ford family x2 on pics!
  2. I sure hope MKX owners participate in this thread. Kindred spirits Groceries, window shopping, sometimes actual dept store shopping, lawn & garden maintenance, family time ...
  3. Good luck and safety first (don't need to tell YOU that LOL) ...
  4. Have codes pulled, either at an auto parts store or at the dealer. Might want to look up another dealer to be on the safe side. As mac said, have the MC and ABS checked. If the MC leaks, it can ruin the booster also. The HCU (head control unit) is critical to the EBD (electronic brake distribution)/proportioning valve feature of the ABS system. It or the ABS module itself could have gone bad. Have the wheel speed sensors & wiring checked for rust/breakage.
  5. I think we have already learned quite a bit about the Gen 1 Edges via the Orange Crush, and hope to gain similar information over time from the Gen 2's you own, mac. Albeit I do hope for the maintenance to be routine and of the low-cost variety!

  7. Congrats, it's a beaut! To many happy, dry days ahead
  8. I'd definitely check the CV joint, but clunks can be control arms or stabilizer end links etc also. My concern is that since you have AWD, you have a PTU. You should check the PTU for any signs of leaks or overflow. Eliminate the possibility that what you are experiencing is an early warning sign. It is probably time to at least R&R the fluid anyway.
  9. Great idea! Come to DC, people "test" their brakes around here all the time. You'd hardly be noticed.
  10. Welcome to the community, 6772owner, congrats on the beautiful '13 Limited! Nice to see a Fusion is "at home" also! In my mind, NAV is no big deal because aftermarket products are generally better anyway, you can have them running separate from all the functions integrated into the OEM system But yeah, builtin WOULD be a cleaner look! What LEDs did you go with for your mods? Keeping the kids happily occupied is a major PLUS
  11. I'd have to point to the usual culprits first: needs alignment needs roadforce balancing check wheels & tires for out-of-round and uneven wear Because you notice it at a particular speed, there is a remote possibility of a wheel bearing or an axle/CV joint maybe starting to stick on one side causing that pull. AWD or FWD?

    Tuner

I know Torrie has base tunes for the '07 as I had inquired myself some time ago. If you choose to dyno/datalog, he can further refine them as requested.
  13. Here is a pic of the swaybar bushings on EBay: Looks like they come together/snap apart like any other stabilizer bar bushing. You do need to clean & use the correct grease when putting the new ones on.
  14. Now this is what we call "Catching Fire"! Moog is out there watching social media, I guess! evh has some great name recommendations, look forward to what MG & CB come up with

What year Edge are you looking for? SCT should have it in their X4 device, maybe even the X3. Unleashed Tuning (Torrie) is who I would recommend. Email him directly for details, along with a list of what you are looking to get out of the tune. info@unleashedtuning.com
  16. I can tell you first-hand that even at the best rated dealerships, communications can be spotty. Despite explicit requests to be kept informed, you may not get the followup you are looking for. If your frustration mounts, try working your way through the dealership hierarchy (service manager, dealership manager, dealership owner); might get lucky! On the lighter side, they haven't imprisoned your Edge for a leaking fuel tank. These days, it seems when a vehicle goes in for service, parts are easier to come by on EBay than at your servicing dealership!
  17. Probably would need to put up a windscreen behind the rear seating to break up the buffeting.
  18. If the build date for your Edge is April 22nd, 2015, looks like you just made it into the FSA range, cv27!
  19. Check out the HOW TO in this thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/14262-how-to-replace-door-latch-module-for-door-ajar-warning/ Part numbers for the door latch are easy to look up on LevittownFordSuperCenter and EBay websites. Driver FRONT: BT4Z-7821813-APassenger FRONT: 8T4Z-7821812-A Driver REAR: 8T4Z-7826413-APassenger REAR: 8T4Z-7826412-A
  20. I'm betting there's just a teensy bit of a chance the OEM part far outstrips this aftermarket replacement.
  21. A truth that is self-evident needs no further representation
