could be the terminals are not secured properly, either on the battery or the alternator. but it may be in the early throes of alternator failure (worst case scenario). was it acting up before you put in the new battery? what prompted the change? Did you let the BMS relearn the new battery? Easy way is to unplug every aftermarket device, shut the engine off, lock the vehicle, and walk away for 8+ hours. During that time, the PCM will test the charging characteristics of the new battery. Otherwise it will use the old profile from the previous battery, which may not properly charge the new one.

You can drill holes in them to allow the condensation to escape. It will solve the issue.

I tend to take the approach of a bulletin not being all-encompassing in how the problem develops. If there is a known defect, many more may have the issue, just not seeing it exactly as described in the bulletin. Just something to keep in mind if nothing else presents itself.

If there IS a fault, this may be worth looking into, whether these symptoms are present or not. Manufacturer Communication Number: SSM 48345 Summary Some 2019-2020 Edge/Escape/Nautilus/Corsair vehicles equipped with 2.0L EcoBoost engines may exhibit low coolant, white smoke from the tailpipe, an over temperature warning in the instrument panel cluster (IPC), external coolant leaking, and/or illuminated MIL with DTCs P0217, P0401, P1026, P1285, P1299, P2196 or P2467 stored in the PCM. This may be due to an EGR Cooler that is leaking coolant into the engine intake and exhaust system. The EGR cooler should be inspected first to detect the presence of any internal leaks by a visual inspection and a pressure test as defined in the Workshop Manual (WSM). If any coolant is found leaking from the coolant chamber into the exhaust chamber, replace the EGR cooler. If no issues are detected with the EGR cooler, continue repair diagnosis using standard diagnostic procedures as defined in the WSM.

if they are putting the "active" in AGS, then I wonder if they will be more failure prone as well. Keep us updated

fluid capacity is 6 quarts. and how much you put in will depend on how much you take out. but have not heard of issues with dipstick accuracy on the 3.5/3.7L engines. on the 2.0 ecoboosts in gen 2+, yeah, it can be a PITA.

pretty soon all the custom jobbers will be headhunting you!

Did you check codes before replacing the battery? Might have a shift to park issue, but IDK. You guys have a dial shifter, but maybe the same switch. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Fd9AruEDRLarbrLUFPUsHTma_sjLyGpY/view?usp=sharing

Welcome! If you like to DRIVE, you def want the Sport, as onyx said. Make sure it is AWD, 2015 had an FWD option, but that has a bit much torque steer.

Check to see if any hoses have popped off the purge valve or intercooler or ...

Welcome, congrats, and WOW for keeping it in the blue oval family! What trim level did you get?

Welcome and congrats!

can't possibly be talking about ENGINE oil, can we, LOL! Some use "oil" instead of "fluid" - trans, power steering, sometimes even brake, LOL. OMG 5 years w/o engine oil change? No way.
-
2 seconds? not on a naturally aspirated engine without forced induction or nitrous in gobs. Ecoboost, yes, absolutely, it has been done over and over. Tune + highE fuel, suspension/tire/brake mods, etc. can get you close to or into the low 12's on an ecoboost (sedans). CUVs and SUVs fight that drag factor tho, so you look to turbos, intercooler, etc.

Ford must be taking the "dust" in "dust cap" too literally. Starting to hear about this issue.
