  1. Changing oil on your 2015 Edge Sport (2.7L Ecoboost engine)? Wingnut has a couple of pointers: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/18964-edu-changing-oil-in-27l-sport/
  2. Need to change a tire, or reseat it, or clean up some rust on the rim? You could try it this way (thanks, mac!): http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/18962-2011-ford-edge-18in-wheel-oxidation-on-rim-bead-video/
  3. From your experience, not sure what they accomplished by putting the filter topside. Hopefully, there is actually a mechanical advantage to it, such as quicker lubrication on startup. What is the thread size on the drain plug, do you know? I wonder if it's larger than on prev gen Edges ... That and/or the angle of the cavity would affect rate of "spew". Time for a Fumoto? I would still drain oil first, then remove the cartridge. If there in an ADBV function in this setup, oil would still be retained. Is there anything special on the inside of the casing (the black thingy) that might serve as a plunger?
  4. To & from Fedex Field to watch the Washington Redskins battle the Philadelphia Eagles on a cold & WINDY day! Ford was up on display Cops were in on the action too!
  5. There might be an OEM plug hidden under the windshield cowl on the driver's side of the firewall. There is one on the Flex in that location, so ...
  6. Corroded rims as a reason for air leaks came to my attention some years ago on an aftermarket alloy-based product Had never heard of this problem before.
  7. You can ask LME how much torque management is in this 2.7EB tune. That's partly why 3rd gear will feel a bit flat. 3rd has always been a "sore" spot in Ford transmissions as far back as I can remember.
  8. My uneducated guess would be that you rotate the hoses such that you can remove the fill tube. So, for each hose, should only need to squeeze the clamp, rotate the hose, release the clamp. Return to original position (take a pic how they sit in your engine before hand) after reinstalling the fill tube when instructed.
  9. Might want to run a couple of tanks of BG 44K or Techron concentrate through to see if that helps fix anything first.
  10. Firewall side of engine (passengerside to driverside) 1,2,3 Radiator side of engine (passengerside to driverside) 4,5,6 So #4 would be the the leftmost cylinder of the 3 visible to you, right next to the oil fill cap.
  11. A couple more user videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y37I87iVtFU
  12. Mostly in the case of my patience LOL. People around here drive as slow as turtles caught in molasses nowadays. That'll really make you wanna gun the engine now & then if you have prodigious power available
  13. Great all-season tires. Not sure how they will be in super hot temps though. Quiet = good
  14. This leak is inside the cabin? Fairly common problem on late model cars with sunroofs, like CinnamonEdge pointed out. Pools of water may also show up underneath the door sills after being parked for some time or overnight. Check underneath the windshield cowling also to see if it looks clear or blocked. When you run the windshield wipers with fluid, does it come out the drains? Maybe try hosing down with water, with low pressure & high pressure.
  15. Glad to hear of another great experience with the Edge, and congrats on the '16 MKC Reserve, that's a topnotch vehicle right there! Best of luck, hope you stay on the forum and keep us updated on your experiences. Now, the last formality of your "exit interview": pics of your new ride!!! Please put 'em up
  16. Make sure they actually put in what they say at the dealer. Their oil comes from bulk bins, and it's best to use a reputable dealer in that regard. Enough stories on this forum alone of incorrect oil, incorrect weight oil, etc. You wouldn't think this would happen at a dealer, but ...
  17. What oil are you using, cds71? Theoretically, even dino oil can be used as long as it meets the Ford spec (so as not to void warranty), but at (approx) halved the suggested intervals, so they say (!).
  18. Thank heavens for the mfr incentives & used car lots
