  1. Welcome to the community, congrats on the new ride, looks to be in perfect condition! Is yours a Cruze?
  2. It can definitely be confusing trying to get the right WSS, just look at the list here: http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2007,edge,3.5l+v6,1434490,brake/wheel+hub,abs+wheel+speed+sensor,1912 I would clarify with Benny at Levittown Ford Super Center which one you want, ask him here: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/forum/56-levittown-ford-super-center/
  3. I would say just the opposite. Cross drilled/slotted rotors don't belong on the track or heavy autocross days. Street/normal use should be ok. Optimal, no, I would agree there.
  4. I hope you don't have any hail damage on your MKX to top off the load of c*** you've been fed so far.
  5. What is the battery voltage with everything turned off? Check 30+ minutes after everything is turned off. That will tell you if the battery is holding charge.
  6. Nobody's saying he is But inquiring minds always want to know ... some of them firsthand!
  7. Next up would be the accessory belts and tensioner, especially if original to the car. The oldtime test would be to take a belt off and see if the vibration goes away. Problem is one of belts (power steering I believe) is a stretchy belt. You should be prepared to replace these belts (and probably the tensioner). What is the recent service history on this Edge, particularly predating this vibration issue? If the engine is running fine, it probably won't be spark plugs/PCV/coils.
  8. A BOV mod might be what you are looking for if you want to hear the turbos. Otherwise, there will be a tiny bit of gain with the dropinfilter, but nothing like with the metal bodied CAI.
  9. If the Escape rode a little higher, strapping yourself underneath wouldn't be such a bad idea. You could provide video & continuous measurements
  10. Your vehicle is JUST past the limit, so it may be something your dealer can take up with Ford, or you can contact Ford directly.
  11. PTUs in the Escape may not be problematic, but the engines (and the 6F35 transmissions) ... LOL. Somewhere there's a balance ... Def interested in the temps you observe for the PTU. How do you intend to go about that?
  12. Yamahammer power!!! BMW's are pretty tune friendly, same for Audi's?
  13. Nice trio What kind of bike do you have?
  14. Would like to add that PTU failures happen even on the units that are temp monitored and cooled. Ford keeps revising the internal design (though not advertised) of the PTU to increase its' lifespan, at least in these "higher end" versions.
  15. Welcome to the the Edge/MKX community, Davor! HID upgrades are a hot potato, but at least you have projector halogens to begin with, not reflectors. DriveBright.com is one of the sponsors of this forum, and their products are quite good, and worth a look at. Also TheRetroFitSource, whether just switching to HID kit or doing a true HID projector upgrade. There ARE LED options for projector housings you can look at from vLEDs.com. The main drawback so far with LEDs is the nearby foreground illumination is better than the distance illumination. Here is a list of various HOW TO's that may help you get started in your quest: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12565-how-tos-powertrain-electronics-body-more/
  16. Is this a Ford/Lincoln dealer, or a Lincoln-only dealer? Anyways, what did the service mgr have to say about this?
  17. Welcome, Blmkso, and congrats on the new ride! Hope it gets delivered SOON!
  18. Get the right pump for your FWD, not worth the risk.
  19. That is strange, maybe they have country restrictions? Did the website come up at all? Did it display a Vehicle Info tab and did you click on that and fill in your Edge's VIN? If you post some pics of what's happening when you visit the site, it will be helpful.

  21. I believe the hatch can be opened if you take the interior panel off of it.
