  1. Sorry no. The warranty was extended to SOME 2010MY vehicles, but 2007 is way too far out of warranty. And with 137K miles on it, the case for Ford covering it isn't that strong
  2. you are right, if you are putting in HIDs in non-HID fixtures, at least re-aim the headlights!
  3. Glad to see ya posting again, Cellbine! No kickback from local officials for your HIDs, tho?
  4. Pesky SHIFT TO PARK issue? Well, arabski has proven it CAN be a DIY task: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/21411-diy-replacing-shifter-assembly-on-2013-sport-fixing-shift-to-park-picture-heavy/
  5. Not sure how the KYB strut mounts will perform, and the links are for the REAR, not the FRONT, is that what you intended, but everything else looks great! Front links: MOOG K750159 {#7T4Z5K483A} Problem Solver Info Front; Powdered Metal Gusher Brg. For Better Lubrication
  6. TSB 16-0079 ROOF OPENING PANEL - RATTLE/POP/TAP/TICK NOISE FROM THE TOP OF THE B-PILLAR - BUILT ON OR BEFORE 8/10/2015 FORD: 2015 Edge ISSUE Some 2015 Edge vehicles equipped with a roof opening panel and built on or before 8/10/2015 may exhibit a rattle, pop, tap and/or tick noise coming from the roof at the top of the B-pillar. Noise can be heard above and behind the driver and/or passenger front seats. ACTION Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition. SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Does the vehicle exhibit a rattle, pop, tap and/or tick noise at the top of the B-pillar when going over bumps? a/ a. Yes - proceed to step 2. b. No - this article does not apply. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 100-04 for normal diagnostics. 2. Position the roof opening panel to the full open position. 3. Remove the roof opening panel side trim panel on the affected side. Refer to WSM, Section 501-17. 4. Locate the roof opening panel net pad. Passenger side shown, driver side similar. (Figure 1) Figure 1 - Article 16-0079 5. Using a straightedge and a depth micrometer or other suitable measuring device, measure the depth of the roof opening panel net pad in the center of the square. Record the measurement. 6. Place a 2 cm (3/4") brass punch in the center of the roof opening panel net pad. 7. Using a 5 lb. dead blow hammer, hit the brass punch with enough force to indent the roof opening panel net padsheet metal 2 mm (1/16"). a. Using a straightedge and a depth micrometer or other suitable measuring device, measure the depth of the indentation in the roof opening panel net pad. Subtract the measurement taken in Step 5 from this measurement to make sure a 2 mm (1/16") indentation has been made. If a 2 mm (1/16") indentation has not been made, repeat the step. (1) Indenting the roof opening panel sheet metal more than 2 mm (1/16") may cause deformation of the roof opening panel frame. This may prevent the roof opening panel side trim panel from setting flush against roof opening panel glass. 8. Clean the roof opening panel side trim panel and roof sheet metal with isopropyl alcohol in the locations shown. (Figures 2-3) Figure 2 - Article 16-0079 Figure 3 - Article 16-0079 9. Apply a one step urethane glass primer to the roof opening panel side trim panel in the locations shown. (Figure 2) 10. Apply a 10 mm (3/8") wide X 15 mm (9/16") tall bead of urethane adhesive a minimum of 30 mm (1-1/8") long to the roof opening panel frame in the locations shown. (Figure 3) 11. Reinstall the roof opening panel side trim panel. Refer to WSM, Section 501-17. 9. Didn't like the Acadia seating (not as supportive as the Edge) nor the suspension (wallowy in comparison) when I had the occasion to rent a couple of years ago. Maybe they have fixed these issues since then ...
  10. Very possible. May have to complete an inspection readiness drive cycle before the light goes out.
  11. Joking :D What with all the hoopla around the Orange Rain-X product!
  12. The emblem will not only improve the Edge's handling skills, but also make YOU a better driver.
  13. Could be that, or actually the fuel inlet. Have you tried cleaning the inlet as per FordTechMakuloco's instructions?
  14. Could be the motor, could be the resistor. Usually it is the motor. Just make sure you can return it in case it is not. 2008 Ford Edge BLOWER MOTOR installation.pdf
  15. macbwt says KYB struts + OEM/Motorcraft Strut Mounts are the way to go
  16. Congrats! Thanks for the insights, they are sure to help others in the future Long may this engine live!
  17. I would go to an independent shop and see if they can spot the problem. It could be suspension, steering, tires, etc. Do you have electric steering or hydraulic? Electric steering sometimes needs recalibration to fix these types of issues.
  18. Best to call them up to make sure, but I think it should be compatible/just fine. The only caveat being that usually they say the universal coolant won't change the color of the original antifreeze when used to top off. If you replace a quart or more (not sure exactly where that cutoff is), you will see the color change. That can be confusing for a service shop, if they don't know what happened. One reason to do a flush is to get existing coolant out, but also remove gunk builtup in the cooling system. And yes, the coolant does leave deposits behind as it degrades over time. If your degas bottle is clean/clear, then likely the inside of the cooling system is also good.
  19. I would recommend folks to visit the comments section of each pic to take advantage of the knowledge residing there.
