  1. Does it make a difference if you are going straight at those speeds vs making a turn? If it is louder on turns, which direction, left turns or right turns? Any brake service lately? How many miles on your Edge?
  2. Sounds like a ground issue. Does your Edge have stock halogen headlights, or did someone do a conversion to HID by any chance?
  3. Doesnt hurt to dream the dream LOL. The code is far from cracked on the 3.0. The 2.7 is our best hope at this point. Intercooler ... Needs bodywork to frame and bumper. The rest could be easily arranged. Flood them on social media . A photoshopped pic or 2 wouldnt hurt.
  4. Ummmm so what exactly is the problem that has prompted this evaluation? A water pump failure or ... Ecoboost or ...?
  5. I don't think it has been in that type of accident, the lines are very well matched. As for the grille, it could simply have been custom painted, not all that uncommon. the lines do narrow from the pics I have seen in brochures & online images. Good q on the airbag deployment. IDK if it is mandatory to be reported in those cases. Ford could probably tell by digging into the systems, not sure a dealer could, unless there are markings that tell you that the airbag was installed during production. And there are multiple air "bags" to examine, in that case.
  6. It is really not that bad to take the entire bumper off. It just looks intimidating. Nick Halstead is the most familiar with this for the Gen 2 Edge, hopefully he will chime in soon. He had pics of his Edge "stripped" a while back, but not sure if they are still up.
  7. Without taking off the intake manifold you will be hard pressed to see it. But if you take a strong light and shine it in from the pass fender side under the manifold, you can see exactly where it is.
  8. Wow, what luck to have both cars damaged like that! Hope the body work is the extent of the problem. The upgrades will keep your mind off such troubles, for sure
  9. Yes there is. On the valve cover near the firewall, towards the pass side. You will need to remove the intake manifold to get to it, it is a bit of an awkward arrangement to get to on the 2011+. Macbwt has shown it on his YT channel, IIRC. ...
  10. If the coolant has never been flushed, Jasroz, ... Though i too am rooting for it to not be a water pump.
  11. Sorry, no. Only recalls and customer satisfaction programs are fully paid for. No warranty from the sale?
  12. A TSB is an informational document. If you do not have warranty, cost will be out of pocket ... You can ask the dealer to refer to the transmission TSBs to see the best fit to your description of the problem.
  13. Will reserve comment till invoice is available for review. I wonder if they meant slide pins.
  14. Not enough to charge properly. Battery tender highly recommended. AGM and gel cells are better but even they will need a proper charge once in a while.
  15. Battery, most likely, need a new one ...
  16. I hate hate hate ripoffs, sorry you got caught in one, hope they refund your money soon ... If they don't have proof, a check, wire transfer details, etc, then you will need to follow up with your bank/Paypal/lawyer/etc to put the screws to them. Or at least find a good trunk monkey for hire.
  17. Not typical, but yes it has been known to happen on many other model lines from time to time, usually after accumulating significant mileage. Might just be a bad part on your Edge tho.
  18. Motorcraft, no doubt. Monroe units will not last, IMHO. You may think you want a softer ride, but it may be a reaction possibly to the bad ride from worn struts/shocks. Tires also make a significant difference in that department.
