  1. Per the dealer site, based on the production date of your Edge: 1 BT4Z-19G490-B Rear Camera, TO 10/ 23/ 12 $491.18 $338.92 1 ET4Z-19G490-A Rear Camera, FROM 10/ 24/ 12 $458.65 $316.47 There are people selling on eBay with the OEM moniker just to catch people searching for Original Equipment Manufacturer parts, yes, they are wily that way. Always look for the brand specified in the product description. If it does not stay Ford or Motorcraft, steer clear. Can you provide a link to the product you purchased? I want to see exactly what they describe. TIA. BTW, you CAN use a Gen 2 camera F2GZ-19G490-A instead, it just will not calibrate/provide the guidelines, but works perfectly otherwise. A much cheaper option.

  3. SSM 45857 Some 2015-2016 Edge and 2016 Lincoln MKX vehicles built on or before 3/23/2016 may exhibit overly sensitive brake applications. This will typically occur at low speed and/or in cold/wet conditions. To correct the condition, install an updated brake booster with part number F2GZ-2005-F (only 2.0L GTDI with 17" rotors) or F2GZ-2005-E (all except 2.0L GTDI with 17" rotors). Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 206-07. For claiming, use causal part 2005 and applicable labor operation(s) in the Service Labor Time Standard (SLTS) Section 2.
  4. I guess the question is how deep does it reach into the tire, and does it have a negative effect, since it IS water based.
  5. Try the antenna. Sometimes it leaks from there, and has to be resealed.
  6. If you only care about the breadth of programming available on Sirius, it is worth it. But you also have to put up with poor audio quality, and renegotiating every few months to get the best pricing (do not auto-bill).
  7. Keep that name to yourself LOL.
  8. That's a lotta hurt to take! How low WAS the coolant? Keep an eye on it, it should drop pretty slowly over time after the refill.
  9. Definitely, the tests are the way to go! But for ecoboosts, yeah, the OCI needs to be rigorous compared to the naturally aspirated options.
  10. I Am sure some rewiring would be involved. People have given up such projects exactly due to this obstacle.
  11. I know . My intention basically is to remind, caveat emptor. Just coz it looks good dont mean its gonna last.
  12. Heck if it lasts a while, what the hey! Let people judge you, who cares. If it is not a blatant safety violation, go for it, but advise full disclosure at time of sale.
  13. Seems pretty early for a purge valve failure on a 15. How many miles do you have on it. The valve may be on the firewall, or in the engine valley close to the intake manifold, like on the 3.5 ecoboost. Fordparts.com should have a diagram showing location. SNMJim might have a manual he can look it up in?
  14. I believe the oil cooler is hooked up to the cooling system. Now to make it work on YOUR vehicle, extra lines and fittings will be needed. I personally do not see a need for the cooler unless you tow a lot. I would swap in the parts from the old engine, sell the cooler on ebay or something.
  15. Even if deemed roadworthy, we all have seen electrical gremlins rear their ugly heads on flooded vehicles. Just take the early gen 2s for example. So you may be motoring down the road when whammo you get hit with a blackout etc.
  16. Great capitalization on the dual benefits of E with GDI - octane AND cooling!
  17. For the passenger side, I believe it is this one MOTORCRAFT YH1877 {#604240, 7T4Z19E616C} Right
  18. i dont think the rears have a holding feature like the fronts do, at least on my 2007: With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02 .Remove and discard the stabilizer bar link upper nuts. To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft). Remove and discard the stabilizer bar link lower nuts and remove the stabilizer bar links. To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft). Remove and discard the stabilizer bar bracket nuts and remove the stabilizer bar brackets and the stabilizer bar. To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft). Inspect the stabilizer bar bushings and install a new bushing(s) if necessary. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  19. well, that's not good! have you replaced the pcv valve yet?
  20. So the shifter was replaced? Maybe they left something loose in the process?
