  1. The smaller number pushes the rims further out from the hub, a good thing since the rim is wider. With adapters, the larger center bore should be no problem. Would advise wirewheeling the hubs and greasing them before putting the adapters on, though, so they don't get locked together.
  2. Hopefully needs fans or thermostat (I know you said fans are working ), and not a water pump.
  3. Out of curiosity, at what tread depth did you replace the Latitudes? Seems the Premiere LTX is deceiving in that regard since it wears down quick initially then holds its ground for the remainder of rated life.
  4. Sorry to hear Nick. Doesn't seem like Ford is taking steps to make the situation right, you may have to push really hard.
  5. Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 40 minutes or more then reconnecting. Let's see if that resets the parking aid module. Hopefully easy as that. How old is the battery in your Edge? I would check not only voltage with everything off, but CCAs as well, just in case it is causing electrical gremlins.
  6. Welcome to the community, congrats on the newest acquisition, and please post pics of the Edge
  7. Could be the tires are tracking the road? OEM tires still? Hankooks or ...?
  8. Welcome and congrats! Do post pics of your rides
  9. Hard to believe the calibration does not work if it is indeed a genuine Ford camera designed for the Gen 1.5 Edge. And the warranty for such a camera would be 2 years/unlimited mileage currently.
  10. Wheel bearings? Check for play. Sometimes the fuel pump can whine, and may indeed take miles to stop doing so.
  11. So you have checked for parasitic draw on every battery? That is usually the number one suspect. The number two suspect is that the battery is not getting fully charged by the "smart" charging system. Number three would be issues with the wiring, the terminals, and/or corrosion. Parasitic draw can be caused by aftermarket installs as well as the failure/failing of existing components. For your 2012, it could be the shifter ("Shifter in Park" error messages), a skipping CD player, or even a faulty BCM. One might suspect the LEDs also if the issues started AFTER they were installed. The smart charging system needs to learn the new battery each time. Either let it sit for 8+ hrs undisturbed after shutoff with all accessories unplugged, or use Forscan to reset the BMS, or have a shop/the dealer reset the BMS. In addition, alternator output should be checked with the engine warmed up, at idle and at 2000-2500 rpm. Low temps also lower battery cranking power. So be sure to adjust for that. You can give yourself a safety net by stepping up to a Group 65 AGM battery tho. Corrosion at the battery terminals is a very real problem, felt washers help a great deal with preventing that. Someimes the installers will not tighten the terminals properly, leading to a loose connection. The battery case can crack, leaking battery acid over the wiring.
  12. In fact it is not. 2.0EB uses a 6F35, 3.5 uses a 6F50. Though in the same family, they have their own unique issues. FWD or AWD because if there is PTU involvement it can manifest in a lot of ways, and the Gen 2 has already had its' share of PTU issues. This is a trend I have seen lately not just with the Edge but with the Taurus as well. Maybe the latest redesign did not take.
  13. Wow, some serious issues, sorry to hear! Is this a 2.0EB or the 3.5? FWD or AWD? Does the issue happen when the engine is cold, or happens at any point? Has the trans fluid been checked for level, color, & condition? Could be an issue with the shifter/transmission range sensor also. Sometimes a PCM/TCM recalibration is all that is needed. Do you know what parts your mechanic ordered? If you have a photo, please post it.
  14. Can we reach the bottom of the reservoir in the Edge where the sensor elements are?
  15. Assuming there IS an issue, have you checked the cabin air filter to see if it might be blocked? Also take a strong light and peek into the windshield cowling on the right side to make sure it is clear of debris. Issues could range from dirty cabin air filter to faulty blower to faulty HVAC module. With a newer MY vehicle like yours, it is MOST likely the filter or duct.
  16. And thats why we need more! Independent audits of your maintenance routine so we can keep you in line, LOL!
  17. I am sure the access cover pries off with one of those crowfoot or plastic panel pry bar tools
  18. Is this what you are referring to? WARNING! This bulb is for use in parking and turn signal applications only. These should not be used in vehicles equipped with DRL systems that run on the high circuit. Using this bulb in a DRL application will void your warranty. For DRL applications we recommend our V6 Triton system. Do you have DRLs turned on? If not, should be fine. AFAIK, our DRLs run on reduced power anyway, so should be ok even with DRL turned on.
  19. The IIHS ratings for the OEM LED lighting systems are pretty dismal for the most part. I think it was the Prius (?) that got a great rating.
  20. Michelin Premiere LTX seems to be at the top of everyone's list right now, but yeah it's gonna cost.
