would you consider selling your sport wheels?
  3. was this costly for you to do? or was most of the headache with the install?
  4. What's your average mpg? how much highway vs. city driving do you do?
  5. Yeah the tires would be the same except I would like to keep these wheels through the winter....
  6. I would love to have 22s but I'm worried about the mpg decrease and the speedo being off....
  7. I'm thinking about buying these new black and chrome wheels with some money that I got from scholarship. Let me know what you guys think. Also, they are 18" x 8" so its .5" larger on the width than the stock wheels. Any problem with that? I have to get new tires anyways so thats why I figured it would be a good time to buy these....will I have any problems finding tires for these? And will the stock lug nuts fit these wheels? Thanks for the help in advance!
  8. he will respond to the contact form via email. It may take him a couple days, he is swamped with work lately. Don't worry he will get back to you
  9. sorry just realized that got all f'd up...here's the url to the picture http://glass-elephant.pullfolio.com/#58
  10. Hey mike, He is designing my overlays now but he just posted a pic of one he did and I think its exactly what you want to do....take a look (sorry I can't resize this from the website)
  11. This thread should help you out...someone did somewhat similar to what you want to do...minus the red lettering. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/10997-sport-grille-emblemchrome-surround-blackout-pics/
  12. It would be really hard to tape off the small cursive "Ford" while painting the oval, and then tape of just the oval to paint the "Ford". You would have to tape everything and almost cut the pieces you want to work on off with an exact-knife or something...very tedious work I'm thinking. Good luck!
  13. Yeah I like how the BAMR blends in with my black body paint. It creates a dilemma tho, if I do a matte black strip on the curved hood all the way to the back it may look weird with the BAMR....hard to tell
  14. Hope you enjoy the new car, I hate the mpg too which I why I won't get an Edge after college in a few years but definitely staying with ford
  15. looking back at it, how does that wrap on the land rover look in the back? Is the satin black just on the hood or does it continue to the back also?
  16. The website listed in that link is awesome....I'm currently in the process of getting overlays from him. I know you said overlays would be your last resort but look at the gallery of the work this guy has done....you can't even tell its just an overlay and the work is awesome! and at a pretty fair price too! Hope you find what you're looking for. Oh and he will also send you pictures of what your design will look like before you purchase!
  17. Anyone know of somewhere to get this protector from somewhere other than Ford? They want like $50 and I definitely think it is not worth that much.....thanks!
  18. Let's hope that never happens....that's why we buy Ford and not Toyota :hysterical2:
  19. yeah I would have the dealer check it out...you said hitting the gear shift slightly fixes the problem so a sensor is probably not working correctly or its not shifting completely into park...good luck!
  20. These are my upcoming projects that I would appreciate advice or tips on.... -painted fog light bezels (how to scuff chrome covering?) -8" sub upgrade (brand?) -Aftermarket head unit with reverse camera (brand?) I have already received help from you guys on other projects and I thank you for that. Hope to get these done soon before winter comes. Thanks!
  21. I don't think mine was on a white sticker....It was just a 5 digit number on the casing of the fuse box and it worked right away...easier than I thought
