  1. This one of the sebring mg has to be my favorite...although all of them look great! You do some good work, good luck with your designs and business
  2. Check out Glass Elephant Designs....Url is http://glass-elephant.pullfolio.com ... He designed overlays for my edge and my dads f150. I know he does logos and stuff pretty well, can probably do the flag pretty easily, not sure about the coat of arms though. Either way, good luck!
  3. So I've heard everyone say that this is a must mod for their edge....I've seen the spring go for around $200 and thats not too bad but how hard are they to install or do you need someone to do it for you? and if so how much does that run for? I think this would make my edge look better but I'm only going to do it if its worth while since I will probably only have this car for another 2-3 years....
  4. I wanted to just paint it with dupli-color perfect match paint to match my body color paint. I have dupli-color adhesion promoter and a top coat so will this be sufficient or do I need to take all the chrome covering off? And someone please...how the hell do these things get taken off?!?!?
  5. Looking to get new tires due to new wheels and winter approaching but I always just get all-season tires so I don't have to change them all the time. I live in Cleveland, Ohio so I need pretty good traction but also don't want these to run down quickly. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking to stick to the stock 245/65/18 size btw. Thanks!
  6. it was probably due to a combination of your driving and the a/c but the a/c compressor can have a impact on your mpg. I don't think it is solely the explanation for your 4 mpg jump but it definitely help not having that compressor running, especially when it has to work hard to cool off the car.
  7. I just ordered a couple overlays from Glass Elephant designs... http://glass-elephant.pullfolio.com .... Easy process. Send a contact form, he will get back to you shortly and can get you a mock draft of your product in a day or two depending on complexity. I ordered front, back, and steering wheel overlays for my edge (gloss black with matte black Ford) and a front and back steelers logo overlays for my dad's 2010 F-150. The mock drafts looked great and he's shipping them within two days of order!! I suggest this guy to anyone who wants to change up the look of their edge without it being completely permanent in case of dislike or sell value. I'll post pictures of both when I get them on later this week
  8. okay ill probably try the bleach then just so I don't create major damage. Any idea on how to remove the bezels on the 07-10 models?
  9. So what do you think will be the easiest method, acetone or bleach? I'm just trying to get these things painted black to match the rest of the car...also need some help on how to take them off haha
  10. very true. sometimes easier when they offer more options than having to go get them yourself
  11. I'm looking to replace the factory sub with another that will fit in the oem enclosure. Any recommendations? Looking for significant better sound without having to alter the enclosure. Thanks

    MPG ?????

I don't even go by the computer anymore because I had a bad case of mine going from 95 miles to E to 45 miles to E within a 5 mile range....Ford told me to stop watching that because its never very accurate....somewhat of it could also be that women are generally easier on the gas than men are...we like to accelerate more quickly than women do. Other than that, try to drive conservatively when possible and also use Fuelly. Its a website that tracks your mpg and spending on gas and is very accurate. Many users on here use it and it helps me because my car comp. says I get 20.2 mpg (yeah right....) while Fuelly says I get 18.9 mpg (thats more like it). Hope this helps and be patient...many have noticed big increases in mpg once the engine breaks in around 5k miles.
  13. does the width difference change anything though or no? I'm not really and expert on tires haha
  14. On smaller jobs its pretty simple....you clean the surface, maybe add some adhesion promoter and just spray it on. For a bigger project, I'm not quite sure. It's probably similar just being more careful, extra cleaning, better adhesion, and plasti-dip also makes an top coat that you may use also. But its usually a pretty easy process and the best thing is that its removable!
  15. anyone know what the size of the stock lug nuts are on the 07-10 models? I know the slots are 5x114.3 but the new wheels need 1/2" lug nuts and I'm not sure what the stock lug nut size is.....thanks
  16. What tire size do I need for 18x8" wheels? My stocks are 245/60/18 and I want to stay as close to that as possible but how do I go from the 7.5" width to 8"?? Thanks for the help!
  17. would give you a nice matte kind of look without spending the money on a vinyl wrap or paint job.....but would hold up terrible! would need refinished all of the time haha
  18. Almost looks like the stock wheels painted or plasti-dipped.....does look good though
