Mine is the 35W retro-solutions' kit here. Although, I'm not sure a few of the members would like me recommending it. You can also get the 55W kit. When you decide, you'll choose the temperature, bulb type, and vehicle, and you're all set. Morimoto should be similar as I'm only slightly familiar with that website. The 3Five is a 35 watt kit, and you would probably want bixenon HIDs. Choose bulb type and harness type of your choice and you're set. I didn't consider DDM, though.

Oh, I highly recommend DTBLs. Best LED kits on the market. Most HIDs I've seen around here are DDM Tuning or Morimoto. I have Retro-Solutions, but they, for some reason, aren't on the forum anymore and a few (or more) have a big grudge against them. I haven't had problems with my kit, though.

FWIW, I definitely notice a big change in my gas mileage the more I get on the throttle from stoplights and over hills.

Hertz Mille 3 way set up

Oh wow. That actually looks a lot better than I expected! -
HIDs, LEDs, weathertech floor liners, and if you're like Cellbine, plasti dip, and lots of it. I can't blame him. It's some dope stuff. Plasti dip/wrap your grille. Tint, for sure. Welcome to the beautiful kingdom of the Ford Edge and their intelligent, loving owners.

Dr ColorChip and 3M Paint Defender review
wannabang replied to Hollywood1's topic in Exterior & Body
Trying to cancel my paint defender order. Decided I'd like to try a $7 option of clear PD. We'll see how this goes. -
I decided I didn't like the way the LEDs' matched up with the lines of the car, and I'm going to be tinting my chrome grille here in the next week with some smoke PD, so I could let you know what a smoked chrome looks like. I don't think matte black will look good at all though. I'm getting Dynamikillu51ons to set me up with a retrofitted pair.

I find the Google powered search works better than the search function on integrated into the forum. That I believe relies on tags that people hardly ever put into their threads whereas the Google one looks through the whole thread. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I feel ya! I drove my baby home an hour and a half in rush hour traffic and loved every bit of it.

I hate the TPMS system. It get finicky when it's cold and my light turns on randomly during winter. I check my tire pressure before long trips and before a change in season. I look at my car enough to notice a flat tire. I don't think they're necessary.

Dr ColorChip and 3M Paint Defender review
wannabang replied to Hollywood1's topic in Exterior & Body
Ordered Paint Defender yesterday. Also though about "neverwetting" it. I'm probably going to use the paint defender on the front end, entire hood, mirrors, and the little piece about the windshield, infront of the sunroof. Those will be the spots I focus on with the colorchip. -
Could you achieve the same black grille look with the gloss spray that PD has?
-
Or get them all in Cellbine's profile LOL

Project to Save Pennies for

+1. JL is the pinnacle, but it's extremely expensive. Their lower level speakers are usually good and more affordable. I've used their subs mainly both for myself and in others' installs. Currently don't have any JL in my car as I decided to go small-er business with the subs and speakers. -
Partially Debadged... and other things I did today.

I found some goo gone laying around the house, put that on, and kinda flossed the letters off. Scratched away the leftover glue, and wipe it with water, which is why you see a mark there. The car isn't clean. LOL -

Just ordered some Dr. Colorship. Hopefully it works well and I can stop it from rusting. -
Factory stereo replacement..........
wannabang replied to HarleyGuy's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Nice! I've noticed with the other installs that I've done that just swapping the radio makes a difference on how the stock garbage sounds. -
No big deal. Hope you're happy with it! Now when you putting a sub in?! I believe you have about 6.5 cu.ft. below the headrests in the back. That's two ported fifteens. LOL Sorry, I just really wanna see an Edge killed by subs.

They are vertical, but I intend on only doing the inner ones, unless I can find both outer ones for < $50. The cutoff ability is great, but I'd also love to swap the new gen's rear vent covers for mine.

This is awesome! Will definitely be looking into these products, thank you! Now I have to get rid of a little rust. LOL -
It really is easy. Intimidating, but easy. It's all about color-coding and reading the directions. Patience helps, too, but I just take breaks. LOL Try it yourself and potentially save your wallet! I'm always excited to see what I can do.

First: Welcome! This is a great place and the most helpful forum I've participated in. This place is loaded with great, knowledgeable people. Now to your concerns: -There's a few guy on here incorporating whole Magnaflow exhaust systems or just the mufflers they offer. You could check those out. -The black accented taillights are for the first gen edges, but you can swap them out easily. I believe the wiring's a little different, but a few people have done it. -I have a 15" sub, but I also have the first gen edge. It's definitely doable in the second gen, though. If I were you, I'd probably remove the stock sub and use the rcas for the stock amp for your aftermarket one. It will also create a unique, hidden mounting location for your amp. -Since I have a first gen, I have a floating organizer that has two spots for things that are about a credit card size. -As for the sports teams... congrats on your blackhawks! I'm also a Cubs fan, yeah?! Hope you love the car as much as I do.
