ohh well in that case i may just hold off until this coming spring, I need to save some money since buying these rims lol. Alside from the springs themselves, are there any other parts I need to buy to have the edge lowered?
-
Sure I'll do that tmw. and I'm not sure. I think it would look great lowered but I don't know if I want to go through with it

well ups finally put the claim through. I sent the wheels back last week, they got them tuesday and I'm STILL waiting for my replacements. this has been the most bullshit experience ever.
-
still waiting for UPS to get it's head out of it's ass and say that they damaged the wheel in transit so i can send these two back and get the replacements. you can't believe how pissed off i am.

(anyone get the reference?) I've been checking these boards for a while now. I posted a couple of topics and I realized I failed to intoduce myself. Anyway my name is Christina. I have an '09 Platinum White Edge Limited (her name is Pearl). Definitely the best car I've owned to date. So far the only thing I've "done" to my Pearl is install the remote start. I bought rims, but if you've seen my topics lately, you'll know why they aren't installed yet... My short term plans are to get the wheels finally situated and get the front windows tinted. I toyed with the idea of lowering, but still not 100% sold on it yet! When I finally get the wheels on, I will post pictures

the guy i sent the pictures to at carid says the back of the wheels look like this because the back of the wheel isn't finished like the front of the wheel is. it's in such a spot though that when I put them on you won't see it at all. so i'm not gonna make a big fuss. unless it starts chipping pain inside the barrel. thanks for the input

indeed progress report: been a week since I received the wheels. carid sent the damage claim to UPS who denied the claim. Carid is disputing the denial of the claim. There's no way this wheel was damaged in any other way than in shipping. It's a big pain in my ass I want my summer wheels before summer is over!

thank you for the reply. the only reason i ask is because I'm afraid that the paint will become weaker and chip bc it has rubbed away in these spots. there is no damage, no gouges or anything, just the rubbed off paint.
