How do you perform a master reset when the screen is blank? This happened to me recently with my 2011 and the sync screen is completely blank or doesn't boot up.

Hi all, Is there a way to perform a soft SYNC reset instead of a hard reset under settings? For some reason, SYNC is seeing that my iphone is connected via a USB and it isn't connected. My understanding is a hard reset will erase and put SYNC back to a factory setup. Does this mean that previous software updates are removed as well? Thanks in advance for the advice. steve

Hello All, I just picked up a 2011 Edge (Red Candy Metallic) two days ago. My buddy introduced me to this forum and I wanted to send out a hello. I look forward reading the helpful topics about the Edge and sharing my experiences as well. Attached is a pic. The only options I didn't get on it are: auto lift gate navigation moonroof So far so good. Steve
