  1. Heh. I'm confusing posts I live in Atlantic county, I'll use that as my excuse!
  2. Really? It's early so I'm struggling to understand your post. If your looking for a change log, read the first post.
  3. Pulled the trigger and updated with no issues (took about 40 minutes or so). The only things that were reset were my Sirius presets and I had to reconnect my iPhone. Here's a few screenshots: 1. Upon completion of the installation, you'll get a notice that you're update has been succesful: 2. Installation Complete! - Showing the temperature is back on the home screen: 3. Here's where you turn on and off the temp display (under settings > Clock): 4. Here's the version # according to MFT: 5. Succesful install reported on SyncMyRide:
  4. I'm reading the focus forum, http://www.focusfana...t=296653&page=5, and some of them are reporting that the climate function/feature of MFT no longer works. Not sure if this is specific to the focus or if we would run into the same issues with our Edges. On a good note, temp display on center of MFT screen is back (as reported in the forum I linked)...
  5. I'll save you and everyone the trouble, as you would have found this information on this forum eventually 1. Yup. All plastic "chrome CLAD" 2. Ford only sells entire rim, cannot replace plastic only. 3. Ford wants $800.00 4. Check classifieds on here for single wheel. 5. Check eBay for single wheel (lots listed as I type this). 6. Go buy a full set aftermarket wheels and then sell remaining 3 good wheels to people who are in your exact shoes. Just saved you some searching!
  6. As long as it's not coming out of my car, doesn't bother me! Reminds me to a much lesser extent, of my old college roomate. Had fairly new 1996 Dodge Intrepid that needed quite a bit of parts/work (he drove it like he stole it!). Rented the same car from AAMCO(I think it was Enterprise, back then you could rent a car from AAMCO through them) and swapped out the parts he needed over a week. Cost him $400 something for what the repair shop wanted $3700 for. No one had a clue! Looks like Dingo's rockin' a 2011 Edge Sport+
  7. That would be easiest (any rental car companies in your area rent limiteds? )! Chris, I though mine was gray too...muntil I found out it is "stone".
  8. Actually. The color of the roof and pillars is "Stone" (well "light stone" actually). What I actually did (I'm anal), was to purchase a stone visor with homelink and chop up the visor to extract the module and then used that in my visor. You're in luck though! Here's a stone colored module only: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STONE-BEIGE-NEUTRAL-ROLLING-CODE-HOMELINK-TRANSMITTER-SWITCH-SUN-VISOR-HOME-LINK-/160868159959?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item25747d51d7 But, you can also go with this one and go frankenstein on it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-Ford-Taurus-Sun-Visor-w-Homelink-OEM-LKQ-/200805047557?hash=item2ec0e9dd05&item=200805047557&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

  10. Apparently mooshin is thumping his chest because his sport came with homelink standard "for the win"... Useless post. Let me know if you plan on tackling the install and run into trouble.
  11. It's $171 or $249 depending on w/ or w/out cargo management here: http://www.levittownfordsupercenter.com/repair-parts.php Concerning the homelink module: I simply purchased a homelink module on ebay (~ $25). I spliced the homelink power wires into the mirror light and it was really easy. I used this as a guide. http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4074 You'll have to pull some of the headliner and pillar cover away from the roof (just pull down carefully) to expose the green plug for the vanity mirror to unplug the power to remove the entire visor. It took me no more than an hour to install the module (use an Xacto or utility knife to remove the plastic for the module). If your concerned about doing it, you can always get a Gentex mirror that has the homelink module in the mirror as well (costs more). Let me know if you need any more details on this.
  12. Just tried to use my mad google skills (maybe I need to go back to square 1). Try this link: http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/CatalogResults.aspx?y=2011&m=Ford&mo=Edge#Search If that doesn't work, I went to ford parts and put in a 2011 edge, then selected body > Trunk lid and compartment. Click on view image for any part listed. I then saw that it is callout # 454A14. Googled that and came across the part #'s I gave you: http://www.fordpartsgiant.com/partlist/load-compartment-trim~2011-ford-edge-16854970-16855265-16855626.html The description name stinks, but as there really isn't a rear mat, this SHOULD be the part # you need (can't guarantee it )
  13. Yes. Do you have mft? When backing up you simply use the directional pad on the left side of the steering wheel and select off on the left side console screen (it will say "reverse aid, on/off?". That turns it off on the fly for that instance (Turns back on for next use). You can also turn it off in the menu options.
  14. What color interior? Here's the black/charcoal part #: 7T4Z7813046DC - without cargo management 7T4Z7813046EA - with cargo management Not really sure of difference, but might want to check with dealer...
  15. NCHeel... Sucks you had trouble, I guess I was lucky that mine slipped off easy. Any photos of the install?
  16. My passenger side font seat folds flat in my SEL. Came with leather/ambient lighting package.
  17. It is very easy to do and takes 45-60'minutes (using a friend to help hold things up). Hitch is about $175. I've never done it before and it was EASY! http://www.amazon.com/Draw-Tite-75709-Class-III-Hitch/dp/B004R2ZW3M Here's a great write up: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/10789-draw-tite-install-on-my-2012-edge/ Note, this did NOT include wiring up the harness.... If you're not up for DIY, the UHaul price isn't too bad, as long as that includes the wire harness (which would cost you another $50 or so, anyway) and the hitch.
  18. Just be careful with the fogs. Don't want to melt the housings with 35 watt HIDs. Usually fogs are lower wattage. Just sayin....
