  1. Hi guys, my wife's SYNC radio in her 2009 Edge went bad. It is just a 6 CD changer, no Navigation. I am getting a replacement radio from Ford and wanted to know if I need to get the radio programmed, or is it a plug and play type? Thank you for your help. Regards, Paul
  2. Hi Guys, I am sorry to bug you all with this, but I cant figure out how to remove the battery cables from my wife's 2009 Ford Edge. The battery is bad, and I bought a new battery, but the clamps that go onto the battery posts are very different from any other cable end I have seen. I tried loosening up the 10mm nut on the side of the the cable clamp, but I cant figure out how this keeps tension around the post. I tried hitting the clamp with a hammer after loosening the nut, but it wont budge. Can someone please help me with this? Thank you in advance. This is really frustrating. Regards, Paul
  3. Hi guys, i wanted to see if any one could give me advice on some problems I am having with my 2009 Ford Edge. I got in the car this morning and the SYNC did not work for the phone, the radio would not work. The volume would show on the screen, but no sound. The display said SYNC non of my preset stations worked. After thw Car sat for about 6 hours, I got in it to leave, and everything worked fine. The Car has 45,000 miles, so my factory warrant has expired. I have never had any problems with the SYNC. I know on my other vehicle, I had some radio problems and gauge issues. My battery was bad, and when I replaced it, all of the electrical issues went away. Do you think I should try to replace the O.E. battery? or, has anyone run into this kind of problem before? Thank you for any help you can give me. I appreciate it. Regards, paul

  5. I want to do it the right way, I was hoping to do it with out taking the rear hub off. I was not sure if anyone has been able to change the wheel stud using a c clamp with the hub on.
  6. Hi guys, I have a stripped rear wheel stud on my 2009 Edge. Is there a way to replace the stud without taking the rear hub off? The wheel nut just spins on the stud, and will not tighten at all. I would like to fix it the easiest way possible. Thank you for any help you can give me. I appreciate it. Regards, Paul
