Full pic with grille chrome black gloss vinyl wrapped... Next up will be gel badge overlays, plastidip rear emblems, 3" antenna, flat mud guards... Later will be hitch, roof crossbars

This site looks great, I will be ordering a set of white on black when I can. Nice to see classic Ford stripes on there so cheap too, when you compare the cost of the official Edge accessory sticker at $250+ The site also offers custom web address stickers as a pack of 50, would be good to have some for this forum (moderators?). I'm going to order 1 or 2 either for the rear screen (outside glass) or each rear quarter window (inside glass)

Thanks fishx65, I'm glad I used the vinyl and not the Plasti-dip. I only wanted black - there's already a bit too much white on the front so black helps break it up and match the rest of the car which is all black and white; not quite storm trooped but getting there!

Finally got around to doing this now, used 3M Gloss Black to match the wheels. Went well until I got to the corners and then the round end pieces...! Will redo once I see how it lasts. More pics when I have time to take them, but I like it so far, only did the top chrome as its the Appearance Package body color grille You can also see my home made bumper plugs, using raw plugs, screws and plastic screw covers, cheap and effective!

Nice wheels, similar to the Edge SEL appearance package but more concave. They should fit, there's a lot of Explorers with Edge Sport 22's on

Added the Ford guard to our SEL today as I found it on Kijiji for $55 new

Found a set of Ford crossbars on Kijiji for $100 and almost went for it but decided against it - I really want to get the Whispbars I did a test fit of the basket today (with fence posts!) and you can see why I want the low crossbars not raised ones, the basket is too high - nice to see one on an Edge though

The basket is 52" long, and I'd likely be carrying a stroller and suitcases, so I think I'll try to find a good price on the Yakima's - trouble is US prices are $100 lower but with shipping and import it comes back up, so I'll have to save/sell stuff to afford those ones..! Once I get them or something else I'll post pics with the basket on, don't see any on Edges normally

I have a Rage Stingray roof basket that I used on my Jeep Compass, and I kept to put on the Edge I have the factory roof rails but not crossbars yet, the spacing is only 21" but the basket is recommended for 27.5" spacing (but I measured and it will fit) I want flush crossbars not raised ones to keep the basket low, but the only alternative I found is Yakima Whispbars that are $350-450 So do I buy OEM bars and risk the spacing difference or spend hundreds more to get the Yakimas?

That's one of the things I liked about our Ecoboost (I wanted a Sport too); the moulded rocker panels - another guy on here had them fitted to his limited (http://www.fordedgeforum.com/gallery/image/2733-edge-08/) and they look much better, lowering the whole car - if yours doesn't have these I'd recommend them Enjoy when you get it!

Thanks for the replies guys, just accepted a new job offer in Montreal so we can stay and keep the Edge! It was EA I was at previously, but they only had 1 opening in Florida. First steps with Edge will be getting the summer rims back on with some locking nuts, then black vinyl the top grille chrome and get some roof rack crossbars
