What u put the flash drive in

I have a 2011 edge recieved my UBS update. I followed directions put it in UBS port and it started updating about 20 min into the update I recieved a message saying UBS connection lost please insert UBS to finish update so I did and it keeps giving me the same message. So I know have no radio because it keeps popping up that message. Anyone else had this problem?
