  1. I hear so much profanity everyday that its a welcome relief being away from it, don't bring it to the forums please.
  2. Different pads like power slots, SS brake lines, and fresh fluids should give you plenty of braking upgrade from stock. Of course if you're a fabricator and have the resources I'm sure you can use your old setup as well.
  3. ^At 3500lbs the boat alone is at your limit already. The trailer will add 800 to 1000 more...I assume that you'll always have coolers, life vests, towels, gasoline in the tanks, then yourself and whatever or whoever you're taking in your edge down to your hot cup of coffee. LOL You're not even giving yourself 1% of a safety margin, your just over and adding. I know your saying that you only need to go (____) far, but if anything catastrophic should happen along that short route, everything you have can be gone. You need to look at a lot lighter boat or a larger tow vehicle.
  4. Document this and every other problem and bring it to the attention of your dealer. Ive earned my lesson with letting things go after we need to get a lawyer and start lemon law procedures against Ford for our 2011 Explorer. So, document it, save your papers and hope that your dealer can sort it out for you.
  5. I believe that's a digital display like the old digital wrist watches like this but with more characters. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12580045&filterName=Categoryhttp://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12580045&filterName=Category. The display which is basically a chip is not replaceable unless you have a second radio but at that point you might as well just swap the whole unit.
  6. Ahhhhhh you!!!!! You Genius! Back to www.Carpro-us.com!!!!! Im going to spray my work jacket with this! I'm so sick of stepping out into the rain for 3 minutes and being in a wet jacket for 8 hours!
  7. there is a TSB for this and its been talked about on the forum. My problem is that Im not sure I want my brand new motor opened up, something drilled out with the chance of some metal shavings going into the engine if its only to quiet a sound i only hear when outside the vehicle when its cold. My question remains, what are the problems with just leaving it be, on long term engine reliability?

They'll bring this stuff to market and everyone will copy them in a year. Look at the LED DRL's. They have a great eye for technological style.
  9. Congratulations on hmmm.... well.... Everything. I like the red, its not as fast as the White ones, but its still a nice color choice.
  10. I bought mine when they only offered 07-10 and they fit my 11 Sport.
  11. I love the look and its something I would have had done already if I didn't have a family to spend my paycheck on. For now I'm living vicariously through everyone getting them done. Keep up the good work, I love seeing this thread updated with owners cars.
  12. What is the correct bulb type? what was in there? I think if we all knew, than we could all change them out and get past this problem.
  13. I always use a winshield shade and try to crack the sunroof open to vent the interior, or open the side windows enough underneath the wethertech window vents that theyre open, but you cant tell theyre open. bottom line is that any fresh air entering the car will keep the inside cooler.

  15. Which WD drive do you have? Is it solid state? Does it matter which speed of USB it has?
  16. I just installed the MGP Ford Logo covers and love them. To each his own opinion. Ive gotten a lot of compliments on the covers and actually my father-in-law ordered a set for his Mustang 10 mins after seeing mine. They finish those bigs wheels off perfectly!
  17. I used the red MGP covers with the FORD logo, and Ive had a ton of compliments on them. They look fantastic inside the 22's. My father-in-law saw them the other day and asked about them, and an hour later we were ordering them for his Mustang GT. So much nicer finish, and quicker than painting calipers just to watch as they get dirty from brake dust landing in every crevice. If you can afford the price of admission, which I admit is kind of steep, then get them.
  18. we got ours at http://www.carpro-us.com/fast-glass-5-pack-100-streak-free-glass-cloth/sky-line/
  19. No radio antenna connected at the top of your windshield on the roof?
  20. Thats my hang up. Im a member on the Explorerforums.com and people with 2013's are having the same leak. What I dint understand is how no one has made that call to the plant manager and said "Hey I think someone should check the butyl rubber body caulk sealer, something is wrong, we've got a ton of complaints"??? Seems simple to me. I hope by 2014 they have it figured out.
  21. yay! Can't wait to hear new muffler delete sound clip. I feel like doing this just to play with something since the weather got nice!!!
  22. I run my 22s with 38lbs of nitrogen. My Sport consistently gets into the 21mpg range with a 50/50 mix of driving.
  23. Maybe just a build up of rust on the outer edge of the caliper I'll bet.
  24. I agree. Tech is more important in this case. Rims can be found that look just like if not better than the oems.
