From different info I got this: One display will be standard. The one for gas, things like that. The other LCD which displays phone, radio things like that will be a package item. Again, this is only hearsay, it could be good or it could be bogus.

How do they match? Do both units work individually or do both seats watch the same program? Overall thoughts?

Ive had my starter run and run and run for upwards of 10 seconds without the Edge starting. Has anyone had this happen to them? After I shut it down and retry, it always cranks right up. What causes this?

Nope not irrational, I thought the same. Especially since they re-did the interior with all that great touch screen stuff, why not use a disappearing touch screen in the black frame of the window surround? You touch it, it lights up, you punch your code and your in. I think the idea for the keypad is Great for those times that youre by your car and your key fob is inside in your pants pocket or your purse. You can get in without having the keys. But the execution, well that leaves a lot to be desired.

No way! 2 years lots of loading and no scratches. What are you worried about? Paint is durable? How awful will your rear bumper look once you paint it? I have a thick piece of vinyl thats always folded in the back of the Edge. If im loading something in (clean or dirty) I open up the vinyl, lay it right over the rear bumper and load in, then i flip the end up over the load to keep the inside of the rear hatch protected from rubbing during transport.I believe i got the piece of vinyl i have at an upholstery place, its a 4x7 remnant piece

I guess Ill return my 08 for an 11 sport, be happy with 305 HP and paddle shifters until 2013, when the 2014 Edge with newly developed 400HP/30MPG Ecoboost v6 is out. Geez I hope they decide to make White one of the SPORT colors at least.

I love my Edge. BUT... Ive always said that this thing could use more horsepower. I've been so stoked since hearing about the ecoboost engines and seeing their HP numbers in the SHO. I was really hoping we'd get the option of a 365HP monster motor in the Edge. For one, towing would be a dream, and two, it would be an absolute hoot to drive all the other times! Why do I call the 3.7l last years tech? Only because it showed up under other Marques last year. No, its never been in the Edge, but my point was only that its not the newest badass engine that Ford can throw at the Edge. I really hope that something changes before the release of the Edge Sport in the Summer of 2010 and they throw in SVT Edge with 365HP ecoboost, oversized sway bars, and maybe a cold air intake? Heres to hoping. I know I cant be alone.

Am I the only one disappointed that the EcoBoost V6 with 365HP is not an option? I like everything theyve done, but I was really hoping at least the sport would have this new technology vs last years 3.7l.

Ill usually wait till we get a high 30's low 40's day and wash the grime off myself. If the water wont freeze when it hits the metal, I'm willing to look a little strange to my neighbors and go wash and dry it in the driveway.

Wow!!! That's what I had been hoping for! Lets hope that Ford stays true to this type of design and forward thinking as far as the innovation theyre showing. Fingers crossed.

OK so I finally had some success with the DROID. I deleted my Blackberry Storm from the SYNC memory first. After that was removed I was able to get to the PIN number to pair the phone. As stated, if you use the arrow right button on the steering wheel sync gives you another set of PINS (4 digit vs. 6) So I input 0000 and SYNC paired up with the DROID just fine. Streaming Bluetooth Audio is excellent, the sound quality is awesome and ive only encountered one problem when the two devices didn't recognize each other. So far so good.

I hope the 2011 (which is rumored to be released mid summer 2010) has a look similar to the the zebra car spy shots. More importantly, I hope its got a nice interior and the Twin Turbo Motor!

I have the exact same problem and thought i was just too picky. Im going to drop off the Edge and see what they can do now.

I just successfully paired my DROID with the Blue tooth in my 2008. Everyone said the phone sounds perfect. And the Bluetooth audio streaming is beyond compare.

Thanks, I read that one too. I just loaded the new sync software to a USB drive and will attempt to update my SYNC tomorrow to see it that helps with the pairing. Right now I cant even get to a point to input a code, SYNC simply does not recognize the phone...

My wipers never wiped correctly from the dealer either. At first they said that the wipers may have needed to break in, maybe they sat in one position and were just laying incorrectly for sometime,,,, well they never broke in, and that extra wipe that's programmed in just leaves a messy smear when i try to clean the windows. I did remove and remount the windshield wiper upside down, (the blade itself is obviously unidirectional) but it did help the streaking problem for a while, its back now,,,, so Ill either have to flip it again, or just deal with the smears...Oh well EDIT: So I rotated my blades again, and guess what? They work perfectly. When they start to streak again, Ill flip them over again.

Is there a range of VIN's that this effected? Or was it a totally random occurrence?
