    Congratulations. I had a 2008 Limited in white platinum loaded and traded it with about 30k miles miles for my 2011 Sport. I always wonder if my 2008 will revisit this forum under a new owner.

    I have no scratches after two years. I have noticed a few minute pits, but they're so small you can't even feel them, only see a slight refraction of light. I would bring it up to your dealer immediately stating you thought it was only dirty, just to come to find they're actually scratches.

    I'm not sure I know the difference from the non ecoboost. I thought the Sport had the only difference difference rocker panels. Can you post a picture?

    I drive my Sport to the Finger Lakes region of NY quite a bit bit and even this past weekend I drove up a snow covered driveway so steep I thought for sure I'd be spinning tires, but slow and steady our edge pulled up the drive with no noticeable loss of traction. So satisfied with this awd system

    JWack, congratulations. I think you'll love your Edge. I got to see the ginger ale color color on a recent trip to the dealer and thought it was cool looking. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    The bulbs are the same the ballast just push more voltage through them. But remember that the bulb that burns twice as bright burns half as long. That's very true of over powering hid bulbs. At $15 a pair it's not real expensive, just a hassle when they blow out while traveling.

    Yes the higher up the color scale you go the dimmer light output you get. 5000 would be better, but actually the aftermarket DDMs in 4300 at 35w are brighter than stock. The 55s at 4300 are blindingly bright.

    Russ, You also chose a 6000 bulb,if you had chosen a 4300 pure white it probably would've been a lot brighter. Maybe we can meet up sometime if things don't shape up The way you thought and I'll take a look, maybe I can help?

    You have to contact them regarding Euro maps. I thought it was a great idea for people who don't have nav, and will never be able to add factory nav. Just sharing, that's all.

    Beautiful work. They fit with the same theme as the LED lights on the new Explorer. Good luck with your venture. I think the members will keep you very busy. That was one thing I didn't like about the tails on my 2008 Limited. I would have had you blacked the chrome and silver and do the LEDs.
