  1. Has anyone successfully done this? It seems 2012+ models are not plug and play and have trouble doing this. I'm thinking to do the same thing on 2012 SE
  2. I have 2012 SE model which has single manual heater and had no heat few year ago, but I got it "fixed" easily. you could try this: take out the kneel panel (just 1 or 2 nuts), and you will see the actuator mechanism on the center console side when you really crawl close to the floor. now pull out the electric connector to the actuator. then turn on the heater, now plug the connector back. You may need to do this several times. This "hot" action may jump start the stuck mechanism. In my case, it worked after I tried doing this. Then I apply some locker grease around the joints of the actuator. the heater works since then no problem.
  3. any luck you made it work for 2012 SE?
  4. what dealer say about your coolant loose? any findings. thanks
  5. likely your PS pressure line has small leaking and this is why the fluid level is lower, it is what happened to me
  6. Glad it worked out some solution for you. what did they do for your coolant loss? how much they charge for the power steering pressure line replacement? My 2012 Edge may have same problem. thank you
  7. 2012 Taurus V6 3.5L with 51K miles, the coolant level in the reservoir is below the "cold" about 1 inch. the level was normal when doing the oil change 6 months ago. so it is likely leaking in last 6 months. The car hood has no coolant smell, no outside leaking found. Dealer did a pressure check and found nothing. Try to get it fixed before 60k warranty over if anything wrong such as water pump and head internal leaking. anyone noticed similar thing? should I be worried? appreciate your feedback, Peter
  8. it sounds not normal for 1 qt coolant loss. keep eye on it
  9. Hi, Matt what is the fix dealer did for the fitting? thanks
