The dealership is working on my 2011 limited Edge as we speak (29000 miles). Everyone should look into the TSB on the transmission and that was the original reason it went in. While that was being addressed they found a problem with the power steering hose that was a bigger problem. The part is on back order and I will be in the loaner for a while! The dealership did say it was so important that Ford will not allow it leave the shop due to safety while operating. I also need to say that there was no drips, noises or steering issues that would have ever led me to know this until they got it on the rack.

Service adviser just called stating the 30,000 mile suggested service could be completed while they are completing the TSB 11-05-06 transmission issue. (If you don't know of it, search the forum, print and take to your dealership to get it fixed). She said they had 2 packages..... $700.00 or $400.00... to change the fluids... I even double checked the phone to make certain I was not on the phone with my Mercedes Benz dealer. LOL needless to say told her we would complete this at a later date.

Before the 2- 10 inch subs went in this Edge.... I noticed rattling coming from that little piece in the middle of the rear hatch! I popped it out and put tape on the it. that stopped the noise!!(kc300c made a LED light to go in there which looks awesome) I need to do that!!

Forum member "ChiEdge" just uploaded a picture of a blue edge with really nice 20 inch wheels.They may be perfect for a lot of Edge owners not wanting the extra cost of 22's, tires, suspension and brake upgrades. and have a classy, sporty look without to much chrome!

I found the speaker and you are correct on the $261.00. I was unable to find the enclosure on that site and that is where Ford charges a lot of money. I was charging $121.00 for the speaker and $179.00 for the enclosure but I have to sell them as a package.The part numbers are BT-4T19A0667-AA (enclosure) and 9L3T-18808-DA (speaker)

I have the woofer and enclosure on Ebay for $329.00 plus 24.99 shipping (do to size and weight). I am willing to drop the amount they charge and sell to friends on this forum for $300.00 plus 24.99 shipping.

Yes When this happens you have to go through a few steps to get it playing. First step... push the USB button on your entertainment screen... Then push the browse button on the bottom right side of the screen. Choose the music button and there you have it!!! Please stop messing with the USB drives.. They are all fine.

I am selling the original Ford equipment 8 inch subwoofer and plastic enclosure that fits behind your rear panel in the 2011 Ford Edge. I replaced the factory Sony sound system and do not use this equipment anymore. There is nothing wrong with it and it sounded very good with deep, tight bass reproduction. The audio reviews of the Edge Sony system all mention the tight, deep bass performance of this pair. This is also a must have piece if you would like to modify the enclosure for a larger woofer while keeping it behind the panel. I am told these two items cost around $1150.00 from the dearlership so bid now and save. Please contact me with any questions but use your Ford parts department to ask what other years this may fit.
