I cant remember if I posted this before or not, but this was the last time I saw our Edge before we shipped it from Germany.

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to give yall a quick update. I have been gone for a bit because we moved to Korea. I spent some time in Texas while we were moving and now we have made it over to the Pacific. We have been here for about 10 days now and we are still settling in. Finally found a house and hope to move in this week sometime. The thing that sucks the most is that our Edge is in the middle of the ocean, on a boat somewhere, making it's way over here. I hope it arrives soon! Oh, I dont know if I mentioned it before or not. But we are expecting again! My wife is 16 weeks pregnant and we found out it's a girl. So I'll need to prepare for my life to drastically change again lol I think our Edge is at full comfortable capacity now. We will keep it, but will look for a bigger car in a few years. Anyways, just thought I'd let yall know I'm still here. Cheers!

On her way to the boat. We will get her back mid October. When I was cleaning the car, I got a little to close with the power washer. I'll have to take all the dip off in Korea.

Had to stable the Edge outside. The garage is cleaned and we are moved out of our house now. Time to clean her to be shipped overseas.

Welcome and congrats on your decision to get an Edge! Your phases of modding look good. Swapping all interior lights was a good move. Huge improvement in mine when I did it. Glad you ordered the harness for your HID kit. Seems like someone has been doing his research! Here are my custom headlights, not sure if you have seen my video before but I am starting to see several assemblies just like mine. I ordered and designed mine from a company called Dynamikillu51ons. You can contact them on Facebook by searching for that name. They are on Youtube as well. For your phase II, the only LED tail lights I know about are from Daytime Bright Lites. I had to call them all day because they said they would call me back and never did. The last time I called, I asked if they found the problem. They said no because it is an electronic issue, so its difficult to find.... I told them to check the multifunction switch (that is the turn signal stalk) and they said they haven't yet. I have been telling them that for 2 weeks now. I said that I'm going to pick the car up in 1 hour and they told me that the car was apart....So I told them to put it back together. I was going to take it to another dealer, I had had enough. When I got there, the people at the front counter said they found the issue and that it was covered under my extended warranty. They said they ordered the part and it will take 2 weeks to arrive. When I asked what was broke, they said it was the multifunction switch. Good side is, I only have to pay a $50 deductible. Now I need to see if I can get reimbursed for the diagnostic fee they charged me 2 weeks ago. I am glad they are finally fixing it. Such a headache to deal with.

So my Edge is at Ford now. They said that I cant drive the car and it sounds like they aren't going to give it back. I have a big problem with that. They keep saying that someone has worked on the wiring and they can't find the problem. What is this? Amateur hour? I am getting real tired of the service here in Germany. They just make me feel like I'm a criminal. I have a feeling they are going to tell me they wont fix it under warranty. Its just getting ridiculous the crap I have to put up with over here. I'm supposed to be a valued customer. ----------------------End Rant-------------------------- I did some research and found the part, I think is the problem, for $40. Depending on what they say, I'll probably be ordering the part and installing it myself. Looks like a simple install, problem fixed in less than 15 mins.

Interesting. Here in Europe I see a lot of BMWs/Range Rovers/Mercedes that have matte finishes. They look amazing. A while back, EGR posted a picture of a Matte black Edge. I really liked how it looked.

Yeah, It will be in a few months. Ill post some pics in a new thread once I get there. Ill probably have to wait about 2-3 months after I ship our Edge to get it. Bummer. Hologram? Haha! That would be awesome! I was just thinking that it would be cool to have "solar panel" paint on an electric car. Random though...I think I might paint my Edge a matte color in the future.

Well, It's a sad day at my household today... 2hr 15mins to remove all aftermarket lights and re-install OEM lights. Back to stock headlights and vertical lights. I had to replace my top chrome strip too... I do, however, appreciate how clean OEM headlights look! I will be keeping my Edge like this because we won't be allowed those lights in Korea.

Looking good Splork. If you get the chance, pop your OEM turn signals in and see what it looks like with those. When I had my switchbacks in, the white took away from the look of the Halos and strip. It might make your headlights standout even more! Just a thought

Here is a short clip of the issue I shot. We are still under warranty, thanks to purchasing the extended one. Real happy about that. We are at about 37k atm.
