I just got my 3M wrappings in the mail today. We are going to try and apply it in a little bit.

Seems like its listed as the same part number. So the only difference I see is the price. But It doesn't list how bright they are, so you might want to ask the seller.

I came across this article and thought it was interesting. I wonder if our Edges have these installed. Real time insurance adjustments does not sound friendly. Same here, no problems. It was a little laggy responding and going back to the radio/mp3 player before the last update. But that all changed after the update. No problems with it otherwise.

Just got my Edge back today. Thank God! It's sooo good to have her back. The front bumper is replaced and looks better than ever!

They sell Freestyles in the states? I thought that was a european ford. Driving the audi for 2 days, I have hardly used any gas. Ticker is still sitting at full after about 50 miles or so. The engine is diesel and got me thinking. What do you guys think of a diesel Edge? Do you think it would catch on or even have a market?

Welcome! I have a metalic earth FWD '11 Limited and we love ours too! IMO, you should update as soon as possible. MFT is so much more responsive that before. Sure, there are one or two things that some of our memebers don't like about it, but I think its a huge improvement over the last version. I hope you find lots of information that can help you here!

Agreed. We have had our Edge for about 9 months now and I think that I have taken some of the things it offers for granted. It is only now, having these rental cars, that I noticed it.

So our Edge is at the dealer for the next 2 days getting her new front bumper installed and I got the Audi A3 for a rental. I chose this car because I really wanted to drive an Audi and USAA had a $75 limit per day. I have always loved how Audi's looked, escpecially their DRLS. But I gotta say, the ride isnt all there on this rental. It's got good power and great handling, but the ride isnt that smooth. Ok, Ok, maybe I'm spoiled by our Limited Edge, but we bought it for comfort. I really miss her right now. Needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed. A few weeks back, I had to bring our Edge so the dealer could start preparing the parts and I got a BMW X1 as a rental. Dear God. I never want to step foot in that car again. Its like driving a big nose. I think the car looks hideous and it felt really cramped inside. I posted some pics of the cars in the colors the rental comp. gave me. Have you guys ever got a rental thinking it was going to be great, but after driving it you realized it wasnt? I'm pretty disappointed in the Audi. Although I'm sure an A6 feels much different. No offense to those who own either of these two cars. :angel:

Welcome to the forums! Lots of awesome people and information here. The only thing I really regret not getting on my '11 Limited was the vista roof. I think driving would be just that much more pleasurable, but if I've never had it I can't miss it I guess.

Now that I've had this installed for about a month now, I really love it. There have been times where we need to get to our portable navigation device under the shelf and we find ourselves taking things off it before we remove the shelf. I think a good solution would be to build in little walls around the shelf to keep things in place when you lift it or velcro to keep the more perminent things in place (a bit extreme though). All in all, it hasnt been that big of an issue for us to modify it further.

No problem. I didnt look very hard to see where the wire goes back to in the bundle. I am getting my front bumper replaced next week by ford (had a lady throw her car in reverse right into my front end a few weeks back), so I want to wait to do the install after I get KLER back.

Im with Dingo, I find myself looking for other newer cars, an end spot so only one car can park next to me (and I try to get close to the curb so there is a lot of space between me and the other car), or in the back of a parking lot. I have been known to take pictures of cars parked crazy next to mine and write down the date and time on a note. That usually leads me to do a walk around my car when I come back to it. This is my first new car, so I'm probably paranoid, but I worked hard for it and I want it to stay nice. The other week, some As :censored:ole put gum on the inside of my driver's side door handle. I was pretty upset, but that's the kinda stuff I want to avoid. Hence why I do the above. Luckily, I was able to get the gum off by holding ice on it for a few minutes to freeze it. It came off without a fight and no damage to the car.

Incase anyone is wondering, the puddle light wire is a black w/red stripe wire on the 2011 models.

Yeah I see that, but it was much more convenient before with the little section on the same page. All in all, it is still only a few clicks away. So not a big problem. I like the update in general.
