I don't hear anything when Im driving, only when Im parked. I def chaulked it up to be the Aircon. It is loud and I dont like it. Makes me feel like my car is out-dated or something. But it is getting hotter where I am and the climate control is set to auto when I remote start it. So it really starts to blow until I get in the vehicle. There is a lot of fan noise and some clicking, but its normal as far as I know. I do not hear what you describe when I drive though.

Good finds. Its a brand new vehicle and it should be in perfect condition. I'm glad they are going to fix all your findings.

Audio wiring diagram for 2011 edge w/sony 12 speaker & nav

Here are a couple places you can find wiring diagrams. I am not 100% if they will contain audio diagrams though. http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/2011-Ford-Edge-Lincoln-MKX-Wiring-Diagram-Manual-Original-P25589.aspx I think this link will be the better one for what you need: http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result.asp?Style=helm&Mfg=FMC&Make=FRD&Model=EDGE&Year=2011&Category=3&Keyword=&Module=&selected%5Fmedia= Hope this helpsl -
So, my Edge is in the shop now for its frist service at Ford. Its going to cost me 190 euro. I really wish these services were free or had a system more like VW. I think they are doing all services for the first 3 years for free. Sounds like a good deal. Now, would I trade my Edge for a V-Dub? HELL NO.

Im in the same boat as you and have gone through your thought process, but the reserve makes sense to me. I'm always putting in about 14 gallons when I have around 50 miles left on the tank.

I never reallized it until just now. You are right. I always have to unlock the doors after my wife runs into the commissary for something and comes back. It does only unlock when the drivers opens their door. I wish all the doors would unlock when you open the drivers side door with the hand sensor. I thought there was a setting for that, but I didnt see anything. I always open the door for my wife, so that unlocks everything (I am the primary driver, so she is in the co-pilot seat most of the time).

You bet. Good luck!

I would go with the metallic black unless you don't like the metal flakes in the black. Check out my gallery, that's what I used. You can see it reflect well in the sunlight.

When I picked my car up, I found 2 scratches on the black panel of my driver side door (next to the window) and I missed an abrasion on the bottom of the rear gate door. I didn't see it until about a week later. Open all the doors and boxes and inspect everything. I say, who cares if you are being picky...its your money right?

On my Limited the doors dont automatically lock until I hit about 20mph and they unlock when I exit the car (I think thats when it happens). There are settings that will enable the autolocking and unlocking. Access them through Settings --> Vehicle --> Locks and turn them On.

Maximum LOLs! :hysterical3: Walmart I have lived overseas for 7 years now, and forgot Walmarts even existed. -
Traveling from country to country with vehicles, I find that it is important to have your car running while you inspect it. Usually the delivery company is no longer responsible for the car once it leaves the lot. That being said, most people only start their car to drive off and don't realize something is off until they are already gone. So my experience is to start the engine while you are inspecting so you have an opportunity to identify any issues before you leave. This will be a little different for you because your Edge is brand new, coming from a dealership, and should have no issues. Bit of advice about MFT if you have it on your '13. For the first few days, just concentrate on driving lol. It was a lot to take in when I first got into my Edge. I didn't try and mess with all the cool features until I familiarized myself with the environment off the road. I hope you enjoy your Edge! Post some pics when you can. It would be great to see it!

You dig the chrome grill Dingo?? I'm thinking about getting a primed grill. I really like my 3M wrap, but I think its pushing me to the "edge" to get the real deal.

Wilson is correct. The only way to access the fuel tank without a gas pump nozzle is with the plastic adapter that is next to your spare tire. With it you will be able to bypass the physical security of your tank.

Very cool! What model and color did you pick up for her? Got any pictures yet? Would love to see it. Welcome to the forums. No doubt you will be able to make your Edge even more awesome with the info you can find here :shades:

Looks really sharp. You did a much better job than we did. How long did it take you?

I see, I tried a CAI but it didnt work out. I also wrapped my grill in 3m Scotch wrap and It came out pretty nice. Ill probably get it painted in the future. I consider it like wearing a temp tattoo before you take the dip go to permanent lol

Really interesting look with the two-tone body color. Looking at your mod list, it looks like your black top is a wrap, would that be correct? Your Edge looks really clean! I was wondering about your K&N filter. I dont think there is a topic started on it for the '11 Limited. I would be very interested in hearing about your install. Welcome to the forums, I hope you find a lot of great information here. There have already been tons of mods that people have done. I'll look forward to hearing from you around the site.

Good find! Hopefully the Nav card will work in our Edges this time, unlike the one that came with the European Focus.
