Or making money to buy mods lol
  2. Haha, I followed the instructions and I could take mine off the same way. 2011 Limited here so its confirmed. It wont break, dont worry. Just get your hand between the wiper arm and the blade before pushing.
  3. Sad to see you go. I hope you enjoy your M3! We have plans to buy an Audi in the future, but I think I'm going to hang onto our Edge. Good luck to you in the future and have a great holiday season!
  4. Since Dama didn't post it, I guess I will. Im sure this applies to all models, havent verified though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2eTN3_hkDM
  5. You know, I have this loading problem with my iPod. When I go to browse my playlists, it sits a the loading screen often. Normally, I'll just unplug the device and when MFT switches over to the radio, Ill plug it back in and it works fine. However, sometimes when I unplug the device it reboots MFT!! Screen goes black and it eventually comes up saying Running scheduled system maintenance. This has happened to me 2-3 times this month. My iPod is less than a year old and probably only has about 8gb of songs on it, so nothing intensive.
  6. I don't think that it does, but you can find out real quick if you look behind your front bumper. Just turn your front wheels one way or the other, and unscrew 4-5 screws that hold the black wheel wells to your bumper. Grab a flash light and take a peek at where your verts are. If you have wiring, it should be around that area. On the plus side, if you have a little cash to spend you can get DRLs that don't require the harness and look amazing. Check out http://www.daytimebrightlites.com/ Owner is an awesome guy and they have great customer service to help you through the install. Here is a review I did on them as well as a Youtube video in the thread to take a look at what they look like day/night time. They are much brighter looking at them in RL. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/10657-daytime-brightlites-drls-review/ If you do a search on the site, you will find other reviews too.
  7. To be honest, I'm not sure. The bulbs don't say. However, 3 of the 4 bulbs I ordered were much whiter than the other bulbs I was using. One of the bulbs was slightly bluer than the other ones that came in the package though. Some of the reviews I read said that people were getting all different temps of white when they ordered these.
  8. From the album: KLER

Picture of My Edge taken during the fall here in Germany when all the leaves on the trees are different colors.
  9. They finally ordered and installed a new locking mechanism. The door works again but has a different noise and feel when the door locks. That's something that I can get over I guess, I'm just happy its working now. The germans that work at that garage just don't care about the customer. When I picked my Edge up it smelled like someone smoked in it. I brought it to their attention and of corse they denied it. First they said it was next to a car that had a smoking engine (pretty much was lied to my face). I told them I used to smoke and I know exactly what cigarette smoke smells like. Then they said the doors must have been open when someone was smoking next to it. I'm just tired of dealing with them, but I'm done with them for now...
  10. With Christmas around the corner, I thought I would share these wallpapers I found. Some wintery, some Christmasy.
  11. I finally got my new tail light LEDs. Realistically, they are about 40% brighter and they also fit into the map light sockets. So you could use them inside for a brighter interior for those of you that don't a brighter license plate. Here is the link to buy them, got them off Amazon: 2pcs 20-SMD T10 12V Light LED In the pics below the original LED that I replaced is on the left and the new one is on the right. Pics were taken with my phone.
  12. I just put air in my tires last night. The air caps screw off just as they did normally.
  13. There has been a lot of interest with plasti-dip recently, so I decided to shoot an instructional video when I dip'd my wheels this weekend. I tried to put as much information in the video to help members who are just starting out. If I left something out of the video that you think should be in it, please leave a comment in the thread. I hope this helps people who have question or who just need to see the process done before they tackle it themselves. I had this saturday free with no obligations, so I tried to do it right. I applied 5 coats to each wheel. the first and second coats I waited about 30 mins between each. After the third and fourth coat, I waited about an hour between coats. After the fifth coat, I waited 2 hours before removing the trash bag from the rotor. After that, the car sat in the garage for the night before taking it on the road. I ended up using about 2 cans to put 5 coats on 4 wheels. One thing to note about this stuff is that it has a strong smell. So make sure you are working in a well ventilated area. Anyways, thats enough talk. Hope you enjoy the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6GVTfyLbPo&hd=1

This looks pretty badass. Are those stock accent lights?
  15. Man, I really love those halos! Wish I had more money in my pockets...
  16. I ordered my plasti-dip from Metrorestyling.com and it just came in the mail today. I ordered it on a chance becasue I live in Germany and would have to have it shipped to an APO, but it made it through! So I'm going to dip my wheels. Been wanting to do this for awhile now. I'm just glad I don't have to go for a 45min drive and pay 20 euro a bottle for this stuff now! As simple as the process is, I might still make a video on this for the forum.
  17. There used to be a big thread on this posted by KC300, but was somehow deleted from the forums and hasn't been restored. You pretty much have to take and cut the light open at the lip to get to the bulb and then reseal it when you are finished. My description is not super helpful, but I don't remember the specific details about the thread. I purchased mine from Daytimebrightlights.com. You can see their banners around the website.
  18. Dang man, sorry you went through all that! I made a note to self about the company.
  19. If you do a search on the forums for plasti-dip, you will find a plethora of information on it. A lot of us have used plasti-dip on our wheels and grills.
  20. Very happy that they are working out for everyone. I have ordered new lights as the ones that I have installed are a bit dim.
