    When I installed my rear door puddle lights, I tapped into the puddle light wiring. That could work for you. It is a purple wire that is located in the side panels down by your feet on both sides. I have a picture at home somewhere that Ill try and find to post it, but I have posted it in the forums before. I'm pretty sure that post is gone because the thread was started by KC and all his threads were deleted in the past...

    So, its time for my second oil change and I called the dealer to setup and appointment. They said that it needs a multipoint inspection every 10k miles. So they are looking at charging me ~$200 for the inspection and the oil change and I have to provide the oil. Buying oil from the Germans is expesive, so its cheaper if I bring it. So my question is, how many of you change your own oil? What does it mean for my service record? And this might sounds stupid, but will it affect my warranty? I know these might sound like newb questions, but these are the things that worry me. Thanks in advance.

    Does anyone have notes on this new update? I know that there probably isnt European maps, but I'd still like to know what they are updating. I have a lot of phone connection issues with My MFT. It would be nice if those went away. I think if I updated this without the SD card I would only loose my compass, because I live in Germany.

    Welcome! That is quite the garage you got there. I hope you find the forum useful. As far as posting pics, I load my pics in photobucket.com and just put the image links in the comment I type and it shows up. I think this is best because if you upload the pics to the comment they show up as a thumbnail you have to click on to enlarge. If you go the photobucket way, they just show up in the comment in a decent viewing size.

    There are links in the forums somewhere. Just do a search for removing grill. It is the same steps as the older models. So if you find it for a model younger than '11, it will be done the same way on yours. The hardest part is pulling the fender off from the wheel well area. You feel like your going to break something, but you won't. Its just clipped on and takes a good tug to un-snap from the body. Other than that you have 6 or so screws from the top under the hood, about 3 from each wheel well, and 8-10 to unscrew from underneath the fender. Ill try and find that link for you if you don't find it first.

    I have thought a few times when hitting the forums that the Ford Edge banner at the top of the page could use an update with the new body style. Do we have a way forward to get it updated? I could mess around in Photoshop, but I'm a newb when it comes to that. I was thinking it could be cool if members submitted their version of the banner and we have a friendly competition or pole to see which one wins. I know there are a lot of talented members out there that could really come up with something cool. Moderators and/or forum owner can set requirements such as: Required banner size Must include the text "....." Must include body styles ..... Must include interior shot Now I just made the above stuff up just as examples, but I'm sure they can come up with something. What do you guys think?
