  1. Yeah, that's crazy. Speaking from experience, that small trim is the easiest to wrap. Just buy the wrap and do it yourself. It's an awesome DIY project for any skill level.
  2. A lot of members here are plasti-dipping or 3M wrapping their grills, to include that chrome strip you're asking about. A bunch of them have also taken their grills to be painted. In searching this topic on the forums I found these threads, take a look: 3M Thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10342-new-grille-solution/?do=findComment&comment=77729 Plasti-dip Thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/11010-plasti-dip-my-grille/?do=findComment&comment=83270 3M Removal Thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/11656-3m-stickerwrap-removal/?p=88760
  3. I spoke with Dan on this and he is looking into the regulations. These lights will function as DRLs and you will not need to have your Edge on accessory mode to activate them. They have a built-in controller that allows them to function as soon as the car turns on. When your headlights are off, they will be at 100% brightness and when the headlights are on they will dim to 70%. With the DRLs only dimmed to 70% when the headlights are on, it allows them to be very noticeable and adds great style to your vehicle without blinding oncoming traffic.

Very cool. I love this part of picking up an Edge. Such a great feeling!
  5. Prinzll: With the EDGE-2s, the wires that are tapping into the turn signals and headlights are just to sense current. They will draw no power from these taps. The red Edge in the video actually has switchbacks installed, they just removed them for the video to showcase the EDGE-2s. The SBs on that Edge have resistors installed and they tapped into that wire. Bottom line is, they will not be pulling power from these taps so you won't need a resistor. I will get with Dan on the specifics on this for you. EDGE-2s are built for 2011+ Edge models. They are custom made to form fit where the OEM vertical LEDs are.
  6. Funny! I save for months to buy all my mods.
  7. I hate wheel covers. Whenever I have to clean my wheel I just use baby wipes.
  8. I went with halos, an LED strip at the top, and a little secret mod to tie it all together~ The inside of the housing is painted to match my car, Metallic Earth. I put my order in around January, but due to advances in LED technology I waited to get the best product I could. I've been working closely with White on this custom build and I think he has come up with something awesome. Hoping they will be in the mail next week so I can install them. These headlights and Dan's new EDGE-2s will pretty much complete my Edge. The only other thing I think I will consider is lowering it a little.
  9. Just about Tom, to wire the EDGE-2s you will need to tap into the turn signal and the headlight power wire for each light. The same snap on wire taps will be included for each wire so this can be accomplished. Other than that, the install will be the same.
  10. When my new headlights get in I plan on making 2 videos. One on how to remove the front bumper for 2011+ models and one on replacing the headlights.
  11. Was waiting for you to post that Candurin.
  12. Sorry that happened to you! This is one of the biggest reasons I dipped my rims and grill. I can take it off after winter is over...if I want http://www.plastidip.com
  13. Great find! Welcome to the forums. Hopefully you will learn to love your Edge here even more!
  14. Rest assured that all of your emails are being received. We apologize in advance for a slight delay in responses. We are working hard with manufactures to further improve the EDGE-2's lights even more from what you saw in the video. Producing this new product has allowed DayTIMEBrightLites to expand it's business. This requires new employees, setting up a new distributor, and working with component suppliers to be able to produce the best possible product for you. We know a lot of you are excited about this product and we appreciate your patience and want you to know that customer service is a top priority for us. For the members who are previous customers that Pre-Ordered the EDGE-2s and paid shipping (the first paypal button), Dan is going through the orders received to refund your shipping cost. The LED Puddle Light paypal button will be fixed tomorrow. For those members that tried ordering the Puddle Lights with the EDGE-2s, your orders will be matched up and you will receive the $15.00 discount. Again, we are trying to get you an amazing product as fast as we can while doing everything right. There might be some hiccups and we will work very hard to cure them as best as we can.

    Galaxy S4/S5

Yeah, I have the original Note. I think I just saw it got an update, but with the Note 2 out Im pretty sure Samsung put the original on the back burner.

    Galaxy S4/S5

I got the Galaxy S4 today. Really amazing phone, so many capabilities. I am most excited about the wifi and bluetooth working properly. My Note's wifi and BT functionality has be really disappointing after the last update several months ago. It couldn't stay connected to Sync or stay more than 20ft away from my router without disconnecting. To place a call in my car and be able to hold a conversation, I had to put the phone in the secret cubby underneath the head unit. When I connected the S4 to MFT, it connected great and stay connected! I haven't called anyone through it yet, but I have high hopes. I also have an unbelievably strong wifi connection in my home now. I figure this is a place where we can talk about the S4 and address any concerns people might have with it. I have only had the phone for a few hours, so I am still learning all it can do.
  17. Welcome and congrats on both the Edge and the Baby! I love pictures of Edges with reflections of trees on them. I don't know why, just looks really cool to me =) We just had our baby 11 weeks ago. It's a challenging experience, but a very rewarding one! I have learned so much since my son was born. I wish the best for both of you! Be sure to post a pic of your little one when he/she decides to join the world!
  18. Welcome! I know you will love your Edge. I find that just about every time I park mine, I look back at it several times as I walk away. My wife thinks I'm crazy...she just doesn't understand LOL. Let us know what questions you have.
  19. Cute! I love her color. Looks like she is going to be a great addition to the family!
  20. Thanks! I have taken Fall and Winter pics over here. So I want to work on getting some great Spring and Summer ones as well. I think I just missed the cherry blossoms though.
