  1. Hey Bryan, Looks really unique. Custom headlights will be a good next move for you. I think that blacking out your grill will really tie everything you have done so far together. I love how mine looks and don't think I could take it off now. I might have to get it painted on.
  2. Cool, that gives me hope. These new headlights will definitely help bring a crowd.
  3. Ill be sure to report back, incase I win anything LOL. Just doing it for fun at this point. I love my Edge, that's why it's being entered. I would like others to see why I like it too.
  4. Just in feeling around on my column, I felt two bolts on the bottom side of the column near the base of the steering wheel. Have you tried loosening those to see if the two halves start to come apart? Also, turn the steering wheel to see if it exposes any screws on the column.
  5. Honestly, I got them because I knew it would be the only time I would upgrade my headlights. I decided to go all out with them. In hindsight, I should have opted out on the Demon eyes. I love them, don't get me wrong, but you can't drive with them on. So they are only really good for car shows. Which I registered for one this August on Ramstein. I am a bit nervous about it, but it should still be fun. I have never been in a car show before. I still have stock projectors, no upgrades were done to them. I did convert to HIDs a long time ago though.
  6. I ordered custom headlights from Dynamikillu51ons. I started a thread about it. Check it out: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12752-dynamikillu51ons/
  7. I actually answered your question the first time you posted about this: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12419-will-there-be-a-2014-model/?p=98828 I didn't answer this thread before because you asked it first in the thread above. Hopefully my answer is more geared towards the motivation for the question.
  8. Little video I put together so you can see the RGB Demon Eyes in operation:
  9. Yes I did! My line number is 2303. Congrats to you on your line number. TSgt is the hardest rank to make and we made it with the lowest promotion rate since 1996. My total score was 344.5. I looked through photobucket to see what pic you saw, but then I realized that I photoshopped a pic for my FB profile. Nice to see there are more AF around here.
  10. Great to see you here. Welcome to the forums and hope you love your Edge as much as I love mine! Post pics =)
  11. Thanks KC! I thought that was a great shot too! No discount. I cant even really buy it here. I have done all my PD mods, wheels/grill/stripe, on about 5 cans. Luckily, there have been some awesome forum members that have sent me a few cans! Very thankful for that!
  12. DRL technology is definitely changing. I was waiting on D51s manufacturer to finish production on a new LED strip for the top that was similar to the halo I have, but production was taking too long. I was pretty patient with them and waited about 5 months from when I put my order in with D51. In the end, I went with what I have now and like them very much. They are really bright and don't have that cheap LED strip look. Will be cool to see what you come up with for your lights. They will even paint the EDGE lettering in front of your turn signal now. Saw that on their site. Tell your brother I said Thanks!
  13. Hope everything works out for you! Good luck and report back so we know how everything went

I've been meaning to look into Rain-X too. I can actually get that shipped over here.

That's a bit disappointing. In the video they sprayed an iPhone. It didn't look hazy. I wonder if they coated the screen or if it is naturally water tight.
  16. Using the cruise control doesn't always mean better gas millage. If you are going up or downhills, its better to lay off the gas and get up the hill with a light foot even if it means slowing down a bit. Those few hills wont change your ETA that much and you will save on gas. While going downhill, just coast. I normally use cruise control on on flatter/more consistent roads. It does seem like you should have gotten a bit better gas millage though.
  17. I have had issues with cords on my iPods that I have in the car. I knew the cable worked on my computer but it was kinda old. After I changed it out, everything worked perfectly. In the tech world I was taught that 70% of your problems come from the 3 C's, Cables, Cords, and Connections. I would start by trying a different/new cable. If that doesn't work then you will have to look into other options.

In the YouTube video description it says that it's available at HomeDepot. Here is an article on it: June 16, 2013 "In the next day or two the spray will be on shelves of Home Depot at Red Rose Commons as part of a national roll-out to Home Depot stores." http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/861483_Magical-NeverWet-arrives-in-stores.html
  19. Not sure where the pic is from, but a look like that is easily achievable. If that's why you're asking. You just need to take those bottom inserts out and have them painted to match your Edge. I think there are some members on here that have actually done this. If you scour through the gallery or do a search for grills, I'm sure you will come up with something.

Found this video and I thought I would share it with yall. I would really like to test this on the windshield and front side windows. It would be great for that water that flows down the driverside window when you clean your windshield with the wipers and fluid. It is a spray that rejects water. Pretty much waterproofs everything it touches. I am curious to see how it stands up to a car wash and how long it lasts. This could do great things for our cars. Now I just have to figure out how to get some to Germany.
