The system, BLIS, is available in may Fords. For the Edge, it comes as an available option for the SEL, Limited, and Sport models in the Vision Package. Directly from Fords site: The BLISĀ® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert is yet another innovative feature available in Ford Edge. When a vehicle is detected entering the blind spot zone, an indicator light illuminates in the outside mirror corresponding to the side from which the vehicle is approaching. The cross-traffic alert feature uses the blind spot monitoring sensors to audibly and visually alert you to another vehicle approaching from either side while you are slowly backing out of a driveway or parking spot. http://www.ford.com/crossovers/edge/features/#page=Feature13 Sounds like an interesting solution! Do you post from your phone? This run-on sentence makes my eyes burn. Agreed, I'm not sure if it would be possible to integrate the OEM system into your existing Edge.

Thanks, I downloaded the app just-in-case. We are pretty much past the "use white noise to quite the baby" stage, but having it for trips and such will be good.

Cellbine replied to Razorback007's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
Good find. My mod for this cost less than $5. It fits perfectly, is sturdy, and I never see it. So I don't think Ill be ordering anytime soon lol -

For actually really bright LEDs, you are going to pay more. IMO, $30 is really cheap. If I was going to buy good quality LEDs for turn signals, I personally would look at shelling out close to $100. 30 Lumens is on the low side for brightness during the day time. Those will stand out at night though. I can't see the picture you posted above, do you have a link to the lights?

Not able to coast in gear without feeling "braking" effect

Akirby is right, it is by design. A way Ford was able to increase fuel economy. -
Don't let Dingo fool you. He is a founding father of this site haha

So KC300c came up with the Rear Puddle mod. He has a lot of other great videos on there too including a step-by-step HID conversion guide. He is also the owner of DaytimeBrightLites, which is were I get a lot of my LED upgrades from. Most noteably, the DRLs that replaced my OEM vertical accent lights.

Cool! One that I think is a must do is the rear door puddle light install. That is one of my favorite and most useful mods. I definately can't take credit for doing them first. It's the forum and it's members here that get the credit . Without you guys, I would still have a stock Edge

Welcome! Does CD3 offer a military discount?

It holds up very well to the elements. That is the main reason I have my wheels dipped. Great protection during the winter time. I have almost had my wheels dipped for 1 year. I have not heard of anyone dipping the molding around the bottom. That plastic seems to be pretty durable. Are you wanting to just change the color or are you having issues with protection on those parts?

Alright Ladies and Gents, I know a bunch of you are looking for these, so act fast. I'm selling my LED switchback turn signals. I am not using them anymore because of my custom headlights. I think that the original bulbs compliment the look better. These SBs display white and alternate between white and amber when the turn signal/hazards are activated (Type 1). $55 shipped, payment through Paypal. Here are some shots of it in daytime, nighttime, etc. :
