My Father has been a Master Police Officer in Altamonte for 31 years, this year!! Small world Dingo and Akirby!! I frequent through Altamonte weekly.. I grew up in Oviedo, Dingo.. Born and raised and now live on University about a mile from UCF!

Parents were originally born and raised in Adel, Georgia right in between Tifton and Valdosta but moved to Orlando Florida back in the 80's. If anyone on here is talking about bugs being BAD, I don't care to hear about it. Come visit me in Orlando with all the water we live around.. The 3M Products really are great and the best all around to work with. Vinyl wrapping is literally like riding a bike.. You are going to screw a few pieces up but once you get the hang of it... It's an art that is good to have! Just don't tell too many friends you know how to do it.. They will consult you like you are their I.T. neighbor.. haha

Yeah, it was more or less backing you up for when the original poster didn't understand where you and I were coming from.

I understood it perfectly, didn't know others wouldn't. The statement clearly showed that while offered in other vehicle it wasn't offered on the EDGE since EDGE wasn't listed in the description. Even if it was offered in a 3.5L engine non ecoboost but EDGE wasn't stated, i'd never ask questions because EDGE wasn't stated.

ONE POINT FOR YOU!! I listed it because if you click on the guys link it clearly shows that they aren't for an EDGE..! Obviously he didn't see that so I helped him out a bit...

This system can be used with 2010-2012 Ford Taurus SHO, Ford Flex, Lincoln MKS, and Lincoln MKT vehicles with the six cylinder 3.5L

Money isn't the issue but from what I have seen NO companies offer shocks with the springs.. H&R or Tien are the two that I have researched and haven't found any other companies out there that carry them. For that matter, I haven't even found any companies that state they have a shock that will fit the Edge 07-10 and 11-12 seeing as the applications for the vehicle in the after market department are limited.. If you know of any companies let me know.. The shocks are probably fine but I look at it as, if I am changing the springs why not just do the shocks as well and make both A and B new!!

These look cool... I have just about given up on HID's and LED's for lights.. I have no idea how people even know what the hell to order. Everytime I go to a website nothing states specifically if they will fit or what the part numbers are. In my 07 Edge, i'd love to have them for the rear and for fronts and fog lights but call me stupid.. I have seen almost 1,000 brands and never can figure out exactly what to order on the HID websites.. Drives me nuts.. So I have given up!

I wont quote horsepower or gas mileage increases around here because they do nothing but get you [Negative *'s] to your profile. Some people feel the Intake and Chip do a fair bit and others feel they are a waste of Money. I used the K&N Cold Air Intake because I have used them for years and I like the metal piping fit in the engine bay over a plastic Cold air intake from Steeda that is pretty much the same price. The tuner for the Edge is another one that I have done but others love it and hate it. I felt that it gave a sufficient amount of power back since I went from stock 18's to 22's on my Edge. It's all in what you like/want. K&N is my pick because my first vehicle was only offered by K&N and they HOLD UP really well and have never given my problems.

Attached photo is my 2007 Ford Edge SEL getting what I believe is pretty decent MPG based on temperature and other factors. My Edge is running a K&N CAI on 22x9 Rims [265x40xR22]. I have the SCT X3 Tuner but did not have the vehicle tuned for this trip from Orlando to Jacksonville. My wife and I took a trip up for the weekend to hang out on our boat and this is in about 85 degree weather with about 10-15mph head winds on Interstate 95. This was using cruise control as well and in the picture it shows 22.9 but at times it reached about 23.6 but never going below 21.5. The vehicles gas gauge is sitting on FULL in this photo and I was about 90 miles into my trip!! If i drove how I normally do, id be a quarter of a tank less by now. I really am impressed with how I saved gas this weekend.. Especially seeing how high gas prices are. Edit: As far as luggage, we had two duffle bags, fishing tackle box and a fishing pole. Two passengers my wife and I and our 19lb puggle Marley! AC was on and in the A/C bracket [NOT MAX AC] and was switched between speeds 1 and 3 depending on if needed to quickly cool the inside down.. AC was not on recirculate.

I have a 2007 Ford Edge SEL [pictures in gallery]. The paint on the vehicle in my opinion is pretty good for the year of the vehicle. Nothing is dull but over the years it has picked up some contaminants and road grime and I feel it is time for a Clay-Bar and Wax. This vehicle was bought used so that's why I am doing the first clay bar. I have read on some other posts about which products to use and will describe below what I think are the proper steps from what I have read and then would like your feedback.. I will be purchasing all of my products from www.detailedimage.com and have been focusing on the Menzerna and Poorboy's World products. If anyone would like to share links from DetailedImages.com on kits or products that go to the below numbers... Feel Free! This is my first time doing all of these in a step by step manner but I have waxed numerous vehicles before and will be applying by hand and buffing with a Variable speed buffer. Thanks for all of the great POSITIVE comments to come. Steps: 1. Wash Vehicle 2. Clay-Bar 3. Wash/Dry Vehicle 4. Polish Vehicle 5. Wax Vehicle 6. Sealant Vehicle Steps 4,5 and 6 are the steps that I am curious about. Is WAXING in stage 5 needed if you are going to be using a good sealant?

Check out my Gallery.. I have the 22 TSW Snettertons and I think they look sick. I tried the Donningtons and didn't like them.. My Discount Tire Company happened to have a set in stock and put them on.. Also, if you aren't too sure about Black Rims then just get them in a Hyper Silver [NOT CHROME] and coat them in Plasti Dip. Tons of members on this forum has been playing with Plasti Dip and its amazing. Basically plastic spray paint that you can peel off if you don't like it.

Good to know! Now having said that Dingo, your vehicle is a 2011 I believe if I am correct but my Edge is an 07.. Even if they were say, okay and not worn out, would it be okay if I did replace them and if I did would it help the ride further? If so, do you know what size I'd need and recommendation for a good brand?

So i have been doing some research on these H&R Springs for the Edge. I know there are other companies out there but everyone on this forum seems to rep the H&R and I trust a lot of these users so I will most likely be going with the H&R as well. My question is, do you guys feel that upgrading the shocks should be a must or are you just installing the springs and leaving the OEM stock shocks on the vehicle? I feel that upgrading the shocks is a necessity but felt I would ask. Just seems right to replace shocks to aftermarket if the springs are aftermarket? Let me know!

You have the right envision, just gotta apply it. The stock sub set up looks so good but I honestly couldn't get the UMPH out of it that I was looking for in a system. If I could of run a stealth box with a JL 12 w6v2 then hell ya, I would of all day long. As for the guys on this site, they are all really good guys.. You just gotta warm up to them and hope they dont give you a negative number for something you say. Akirby, Dingo, Cal3thousand, loosecannon, and a few others are really really helpful. They will help you a lot once they open up to you!

Two things you don't play around with are Rims and Paint. You don't buy rims because you don't have the money to get the ones you want and you don't paint things on your car that can't be returned to stock in case you don't like it. Save up if you are worried about the "Dolla Dolla Bills Yall". As for racing an Edge at the track, I would have never put 22's on my Edge if I thought I wanted to partake in some "Smokey and the Bandit" on the weekends.. Although, there is a video of a guy on Youtube sporting a 2007 Edge SEL with catback exhaust, airaid intake, sct x3 tune and throttle body spacer running mid 15's on 22's @ 87mph I believe.. Don't quote me on the MPH but thats pretty damn good for a CUV with simple bolt ons running 22's.... IMHO that is.

I am interested in the H&R lowering springs as long as they will fit an 07 Edge... I believe they will and am sure I have read before that 07-12 is the same lowering spring. What size is it?? 1.75 front and 1.5 rear?
