NWS, That is great information, Thank you. I am new to all this and trying to internet research this with help from yourself. I just want to clarify a couple things, if that is ok. The morimoto bulbs aren't bad for aftermarket but they are not as good as OEM. Although you will have less work and our stock projectors are much better than most for aftermarket kits. Safe for yourself and others on the road.- My understanding is that the Morimoto bulbs are the better choice if I leave the stock projectors, is this correct?or are you referring to the OEM. Hi all, I just picked up my 08 MKX. I love it so far minus the fact that there is no HID's.I have been reading all I can to find out the best system and installation. I am looking for some confirmation from someone who has installed some or no someone who has. I am trying to find out these questions: 1. Who makes the best and most reliable system? I', willing to invest good money for reliable lights. 2. What has the best color been? I am looking at between 5000K and 6000K 3. What is the best wattage, I am thinking 55? 4. How was the installation and storage of the ballast? 5. Did you use a regulator cable? I am not sure if these are all the appropriate questions to ask, but this is a start. I would really like to get a nice set of HID's. Thanks in advance, Bryan
