I have a 2011 edge limited and looking to replace the factory sub. It is an eight inch sub but was wondering if anyone knew how deep it could go in there?

I am trying to replace the 8 inch subwoofer that comes factory with a different one with a better sound quality. Do i just need to take the covering off of the side to undo it and hook up the aftermarket sub? Also, how do i take that side paneling off in order to replace it? The other thing I am curious to know if anyone has been able to run an additional subwoofer and amp to the stock in dash entertainment center? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
